   Absolutely incredible steaks cooked perfectly with a side of delicious salad! Some of the best steak we've ever had. We got the scotch eye and sirloin with side of peppercorn sauce which went very well. The Creamy mushrooms were also perfect. Fries also a good addition. We managed to without a reservation but went early before 6pm as it was very booked up later on. Would definitely come again.

   Worth the Wait! Having visited a lot of steak houses in Auckland, I can confidently say Angus Steak House serves the biggest and best steak in Auckland hands down! If you REALLY like your steak and want to leave feeling satisfied (or in my case overfull) and get great value for money in well thought out ambiance, then Angus is the place to go! Just like the included picture, Angus sells the biggest and cheapest steaks in Auckland, meat is absolutely top quality melt in mouth, so you’re not getting a big piece of low grade meat. One item of note due to the popularity of this restaurant there can be a wait at times, therefore I would recommend a starter to keep the take going until the meal arrives, however as the saying goes you can’t rush perfection and this is 100% accurate for the mouthwatering meal that awaits. Absolute recommended Angus for it’s outstanding quality and price and cannot recommend enough 10 Stars!!!!!

   You can tell when it is going to be a good meal when the restaurant is full on a Monday. I had the 500g scotch filet rare/medium rare. It was cooked perfectly and tasted even better than it looked.

   Excellent service and the steak was fantastic. The ONLY complaints are the garlic loaf which is actually a 1/3 of a baguette at $10 (rip off) and the jacket potato which is about the size of a tennis ball at $9:50 (ridiculous)

   Coming from Texas, my family and I were looking to have a nice steak lunch and this place did not disappoint. My son (7yo) had the kids petite steak, wife had the steak sandwich, and I had the T-bone steak. Along with that we had the garlic loaf, salads, and seasonal vegetables. Steaks were all seasoned well and grilled to a perfect medium rare. Highly recommend getting the Cafe de Paris butter with the steak. Drinks came out quickly and the waitress was incredibly friendly. We’ll definitely come back next time we’re in Auckland.

   Our first steak house restaurant was delicious to the core. Myself and my sons had Scotch fillet steak (medium BBQd to perfection) with egg and added sides of creamy mushrooms, fried onions and fries. Desert was nice. Service was top notch.

   To be honest, customer service was what really brought the review rating down. I felt extremely unwelcome as well as my other family members and the service was absolutely disappointing. I saw one of the waitress’ simply chuck the salad on another persons table. You would expect people serving you to at least be kind or smile and feel welcomed but I felt the exact opposite. It felt uncomfortable and as if I was being ignored and looked down on from their words and attitude. The beef was alright, not the best. We asked for medium well but got medium rare with blood oozing out which wasn’t very pleasant. Will probably not come back here again.

   If you are looking for a big steak, this is the place to go. Our experience was ok but it wasn't memorable. The steak was well cooked and the servers did as good as they could. I recommend you not to be seated by the rear window where drunk people wait for their burgers from The White Lady, it may be entertaining, but not ideal for a romantic dinner out.
