This accommodation has friendly staff, cleanliness, comfortable beds, great location, huge communal kitchen, and strong Wi-Fi. The spotless room also had an amazing view. This was the perfect getaway to clear my mind. There we all kinds of guests from all over the world and the opportunity to interact in community spaces was my favorite part.
We recently had our Cousins Reunion here. It was a great venue, amazing kitchen, dining and lounge area. The staff were great, very friendly and helpful.
This is the second time I've stayed here. It is right on the waterfront and reasonably priced. They provide bedding and clean towels. Like most hostel type accommodation it is a shared bathroom situation but I never had trouble using one when I needed to. Free tea and coffee is provided in the kitchen. Cutlery and crockery is also provided. Parking is on street but both times I was able to park right outside the door.
Only stayed one night here but would have loved to stay longer! Immaculate spaces, right on the ocean so you can hear the waves. Super great staff as well!
I stayed for a length of time as I and my son felt so welcome here the environment is warm and friendly and family friendly. The place was always very clean and tidy. The staff and owners are welcoming and friendly as well as very helpful. I will be back again and again I absolutely loved this place and fully recommend it
I used to work here so maybe Iβm biased but this is one of the most beautiful places Iβve been to in my one year New Zealand trip. The sunsets are incredibly beautiful, the beach is right in front of the Hostel. Danny (the owner) is super nice and kind, the rooms and bathrooms are clean. Love it!
Really lovely place that feels more like a house than a hostel. The owner is really friendly and the rooms are nice. A bit pricey but it's worth it if you have a car and don't want to park in Wellington.
I loved our stay at Moana Lodge. It is a very clean place and with the homely atmosphere. The owner allowed us to check in after 10 pm and was accommodating with leaving the keys for us at the reception. The amazing electric blanket in the rooms. I loved the place and wish I could stay longer than 1 night
I was a little surprised to find out this was a backpackers. However, this gem of a place was enchanting. We were spoiled having a room overlooking the bay, but the establishment was so well managed and cared for that the complete visit was a delight. I loved the finishing touches such as the tiles above the hand basins echoing the view across the bay. The kitchen was spotless and had everything necessary to create first class meals should you wish. Thank you so much guys. Keep up the good work!
