   The Plylab team built a beautiful vanity for our new bathroom (vanity top purchased from Newtech). It was hard to find good quality vanities elsewhere and the plywood is so solid compared to more common MDF options. They were very upfront about what they could and couldn’t do which was helpful and speaks to their commitment to quality! The production was very quick, we are very happy and would highly recommend to others.

   Abe, Rose and the whole PlyLab crew were fantastic to deal with from the outset. They did a full kitchen for me and it looks great. Not a bit of mdf in sight! The finish of the ply is next level. LAnd they were great at dealing with all the little hiccups along the way, always prepared to address issues when they arose. I cannot recommend them all highly enough.

   I had a full shelf made by Plylab in Wellington and I couldn’t be happier with the result. It’s absolutely beautiful. The craftsmanship is top-notch, and the design is clean and modern. The shelf fits perfectly in the space and is both functional and stylish. I use it to display plants and books, and it adds so much character to the room. The brackets are especially impressive. They’re made from the same high-quality plywood as the shelf itself, creating a seamless and elegant look. Highly recommend Plylab if you’re after custom, well-crafted shelving!

   We approached PlyLab to help us design our dream kitchen out of birch ply. They were wonderful to work with, knowledgeable about their products and kitchen design and very responsive in all their dealings with us in the design and quoting process. Visiting their workshop was very helpful in narrowing down design ideas and product preferences. Getting to see the workshop where the cabinets and furniture is made is also really awesome. I would highly recommend their service to help you design sustainable, locally made and beautiful furniture, kitchen cabinetry or bespoke shelving.

   We could not recommend PlyLab more. We got our kitchen cabinets and shelving made by them in June and had such a good experience we floated the idea of a huge cabinet across our living room which we kinda thought wasn’t going to be possible but Abe is incredible at figuring out how they can make it work and also make the whole experience and process really enjoyable. He’s also honest and an easy communicator (without feeling like a salesman). I only wish we had more money so we could get them to make all the furniture in our house! Our cabinet is truly a dream come true & PlyLab made it happen.

   We just had our cabinetry put in by PlyLab. I was struggling to find someone willing to work with our difficult kitchen - it’s very small and an annoying shape. Desperate to get as much storage as possible, I had some pretty wacky design ideas. PlyLab were really patient with me and Joel even seemed excited by the challenge which is just what I needed. Even though the kitchen isn’t finished yet (see pics), PlyLab’s part is and we couldn’t be happier with what they’ve created. It looks so cosy and yet still smart. The quality is incredible. You can definitely tell that these are special cabinets (rather than store-bought ones). It’s also worth putting a special mention to the staff at PlyLab - they were all incredibly helpful, patient, flexible and nice. Overall just a really nice organisation. Would highly recommend.
