Updated 2023. This store is choc full of choices for mostly Korean items, but also has considerable Japanese grocery items, and food stuff from Asian countries. They have crispy fruit chips that are good to snack on- gluten free and vegan. Other things for gluten free people are glass noodles, rice vermicelli, bean vermicelli, konjac noodles, rice crackers with assorted flavours, mochi balls (macha, taro, peanut, even durian etc). They have jackfruit chips too for vegans. The dumplings, we like the spicy octopus (very spicy!). The ice cream section is fun, can be taro, mango, black bean, matcha flavoured. Still have competitive pricing and lots of choices. good prices, good selection of Asian items, their specialty is Korean stuff. Kimchi, lots of choice hot pot meat and meatballs/fishball/seafood balls, teas, korean flavored noodles(jajangmyun), glass noodles, seaweed of all sorts---from snacking ones, to crisps. Always well stocked and competitive pricing.
Horrible staff there, the women with the glasses is really rude don’t recommend going there unless you wanna get stared up & down at from the women
Has stuff other asian supermarkets n Johnsonville or hutt area don't have especially Korean products. A bit concerning they are always selling expired food, when I mean expired I meant 1 to 2 years expired..as someone who works in fresh foods, this place would close down if there was an audit especially if someone was to get sick. I recommend disposing expired food before someone does get sick, saving money is not worth it,think of your customers.
Found all the Korean stuff I need to make kimchi. They also had a good range of kitchen utensils, pots, pans, gloves, rice cookers, etc. Also, skincare products. Snacks, drinks, frozen foods, etc. Good prices, too.
I love this shop and I always buy my Japanese rice from here. The shop owner always helps me to carry the rice for me to the car. I really appreciate it. Many yummy food at very reasonable price.
