   We were searching for a flat in the Auckland CBD, and I am so thankful to have come across Apartment Specialists.  Dan McKillen was absolutely brilliant to work with, taking on board our list of needs and wants.  He was friendly and engaging, made us feel that our search was important, and that Dan was giving real attention to our requirements. We suggested flats we might like to view, and he suggested others.  We discussed each flat afterwards, and really felt that he was not just trying to sell us something. One thing I highly recommend about Dan and the team at Apartment Specialists is that they will liaise with agents from other real estate firms, to enable you to go through properties listed elsewhere.  This meant there no stress to us, and no need to ring up multiple agents, as Dan did the work of arranging viewings and came with us.   It really made the whole search far less onerous, and indeed enjoyable. I definitely recommend Apartment Specialists.

   Wanted to shout out to Oliver from Apartment Specialists. From the get go, he was the consummate professional in guiding me through buying an apartment in the city. Super helpful and knowledgeable in answering questions I had about the property and buying process. Really clear around due diligence and the bank and lawyer side of things. Even post sale, when there were niggles with the property (nothing to do with the agency by the Way), Oliver stepped up to help out and made sure these were ironed out promptly.    We engaged Rory Hunt from Apartment Specialists to sell our apartment but our relationship with Rory started before we were ready to go to market. He reached out to us periodically, as apartment owners, on the state of the apartment market in Auckland and we appreciated his candid reports. When we spoke to a couple of other agents from other firms they could not compare with Rory's knowledge of the apartment market, or of the building we owned in, and so the decision to go with Rory was made. He was highly professional, advised us on the timing and presentation of the apartment, communicated with the body corp on our behalf, and was responsive to all of our questions and needs, even if they were at night or on weekends. The price he suggested was realistic given the state of the market and we felt it was set at the right level. Competing agents tried to lure us to sign with them with promises of high prices, but they were not realistic. Our apartment was soon viewed by eligible buyers and an offer was quickly forthcoming and accepted. The process went smoothly and the apartment sold. It was a pleasure to go on this journey with Rory, such a pleasant, engaging and enthusiastic professional, and we hope the new owners enjoy the apartment as much as we did.
