I’ve been seeing Frankie for well over a decade through many evolutions of hair and styles, engagements, weddings, special events or just the regular tidy up. Nails the brief every time and even when you don’t know what you want she has a talent for creating something that’s uniquely and authentically you! Can’t rate her highly enough.
Yesterday I had the most amazing experience at Luca Hairstyling! After having bulky, thick, all one length hair for a while now, I wanted something noticeably different and lighter. I ended up getting gorgeous shaggy layers and bangs done by the wonderful Libby. I knew as soon as I told her what I was after she was on-board and ready to change my whole look. Her confidence and technique was awesome, she really payed attention to what i wanted and took her time to perfect it! I’m so so happy with how my hair turned out, and for a soon to be new mother I am forever grateful for such a lovely experience. I WILL be back ! Highly highly recommend.
Fly from Kerikeri to Wellington just to see Liis-there is no one better than her. She listens and delivers every time. She’s a true professional and cuts and colours hair properly. I have had so many fails and refuse to risk it again! Absolutely can’t fault her and recommend her to everyone!
Just had a haircut with the amazing Libby! I was feeling a little guilt about letting my hair get into a bit of a state. She was amazingly talented and had such a beautiful presence about her. Having my hair done with her has made my whole week. Thank you Libby!
$360 for a half head of highlights, I normally feel light and breezy leaving the salon, felt stripey (highlights) and frizzy/puffy (they didn't know how to diffuser dry, even though I had actually asked for a blow wave). They don't offer coffee and the salon interior feels a bit abandoned for a "fancy" place. Had the same experience years ago, wanted to give it another go but now feel confident to say don't go here. I normally get the same thing at other fancy hairdressers for $250 and feel and look great, too bad, gave it a go. In the morning I'm actually really upset, look at the choppy highlight line, embarrassing.
