Outstanding Customer Service from Ella had an issue with a pair on shoes that I brought on line . Ella was outstanding in helping getting everything sorted . Would definitely buy from this store .
Excellent Service purchased online but the shoe didn't fit was directed to the Cuba Street store to exchange the exchange went really good and the shop teller was patient and helpful I ended up with the mens work shoe non slip and electric shock proof which do exactly what they say really happy with the whole experience
I entered the Sketchers store on Cuba St, Wellington. I was welcomed with a warm greeting from Jonty. They immediately asked if they could be of assistance. I was on the hunt to replace my favourite pair of Sketchers, he immediately brought out all the colour options in my size. Helped me figure out I needed the wide fit. There was a specific colour-way I was after. They checked all the options and found them available online. They answered all my questions with confidence. They set-up my order as a distant order. As someone who works in management in a retail store I always appreciate exceptional service. Jonty provided exceptional, friendly, customer service. I would hire them. Thank you.
I visited several times to buy shoes for work. I looked at the shoes for a long time and kept watching the staff, but even though they noticed me, they didn’t approach. They were either chatting with each other or organizing shoes. When I visited again, there were no other customers, and when I made eye contact with a female staff member, she just went into the storage room. It feels like kindness is a luxury in this store, and I would have appreciated getting some proper assistance.
I visited the store on November 23, 2024, at 12:10 p.m. The female staff member who greeted me was not very friendly. She seemed reluctant to help me find the appropriate size. I noticed that another customer had a similar experience with the same staff member.
Bought some shoes from here. Only worn in an office setting at work for a week and the laces have started falling apart. I emailed customer service and they told me I have to go in store, even though my closest store is 2 hours away. I did on a trip to Auckland and was then told they don't sell laces..... At a shoe store lol. So they wouldn't just give me new laces. Now I have to take my shoes in next time and replace the whole shoe, what a waste. I just wanted a replacement/different pair of laces. What a joke of a company.
Shop assistants clearly need more training. These people make it very clear they hate their jobs.
Usless go into queens gate they dont have my size told me cuba st does. Ring no one even answers, were told i could purchase off the web site but the search doesn't bring up anything for the number i was given and cant find where to make a purchase on line from a selected store as i got told you can click and collect. Looks like ive got to look somewhere else.
My partner bought sneakers here. The staff member that served us was so friendly and helpful, with honest opinions on what sneakers my partner should buy. She also demonstrated a cleaning solution, which we didn't end up purchasing, but we appreciated the extra efforts this staff member went to. Service is so lacking in many shops that it's heartening to experience excellent customer service.
Basic 3 star service - could be better - walked in with my mum to get her some good walking shoes, met with a suggestion to go next door to Hype. If we wanted to go to Hype, we would’ve done that and I advised the assistant that if we didn’t find what we were after, we would go there. In the end we did up buying a pair that I did thorough checking on, so thorough that I was even asked by another older couple to help them on buying shoes. During the process of the sale, the assistants service became what it should’ve been, but that should’ve been from the start.
