I don’t usually post negative reviews but I just had a really disappointing experience. Having finally managed to sort care for my baby, I turned up to the appointment I thought I’d booked very excited for 20 mins to myself. The woman who i dealt with couldn’t find my booking and offered zero warmth or understanding. Maybe I had made a mistake, my brain is postpartum. Maybe I’m taking this personally, my emotions are all over the place. But she was just straight mean and I won’t be ring back.
the woman doing my nails was wearing a top so low you could see where the bottom of her breasts met, very unprofessional even in a majority female space i think it’s inconsiderate. she stoped my service half way through to do another client for around 25 minutes. and was generally unfriendly and not super helpful. my nails were okay, not quite like the photo. i had gel x the the quality of the tip was awful and bent quickly and gems fell off in the first few days.
I had an amazing experience with my nail technician Holly. The attention to detail was impeccable, and she transformed my nails. The atmosphere was relaxing, and she was friendly and professional. I left feeling pampered and thrilled with the results. Highly recommend!
Came here three years ago and loved it! Decided to treat myself, as they are a bit pricier than the others but unfortunately my nails didn’t even last 2 weeks and it was dipping powder. I did come back and fix it but my lady was impatient and put cuticle oil on too quick and ruined two nails that didn’t even need repairing. Also, another nail ended up chipping the same day of my repair..
Having not had a manicure before, I was unsure what to expect. Connie is very precise and takes care in her work; she is very gentle. The whole experience felt natural. The end result is far better than what I was expecting. Don’t be shy.
The ambience was nice and I had high hopes for this place, however, the nail technician who did mine was really incompetent. She was so bad that my sister had to get her’s done again. Thank god for the Korean girl who worked there, she fixed all of our nails. Bless her, she stayed after hours to finish. It was pricey and had incompetent employees…
Fantastic job! Thanks to Holly and her team. I was a model for Soft gel overlay and it was done superbly. I had a lot of compliments in the last 24 hours. Will definitely recommend Art of Nails Albany any time.
