Did Lee say farewell? There's someone else now, and he's very different. So those coming for the banter might be disappointed. Technically, his work wasn't bad, yet I think 40 NZD (which allegedly includes a 10 NZD discount) for a simple shave is a bit over the top.
Paywast is a skilled professional barber. It's rare to find a barber who truly knows what they are doing. His customer service is excellent, and the place exudes elegance, especially with his stylish barber chair. I highly recommend this place and Paywast (a.k.a. Sam) for a fantastic haircut.
It was very refreshing to experience a hairdresser who knew exactly what he was doing with scissors and not an electric clipper. He worked hard and efficiently and did exactly what I asked. Just wish I lived in Orewa and not the U.K. for I would make him my must come too barber.
Lee is a nice guy, gave me the usual short sides and thin out on top. I was a little surprised at his pricing as he charged me $40. When Daz another local hairdresser had his shop he would charge $25 for the same cut. I think for a standard mens cut it is a little on the high side.
Excellent service. Was really impressed with his attention to detail, expert line and fade work, while being incredibly fast and efficient. Easy to talk to and would highly recommend.
Lee is simply the BEST Barber on the Hibiscus Coast (if not Auckland). If you’re looking for the highest quality cut, chat and customer service - you will get it here. I cannot recommend more. Give it a go and you’ll not be disappointed.
His Place is brilliant.. each time I go there they deliver exactly what they promise professional standards, brilliant customer service and value. This is a business that has developed through hard work and a desire to maintain standards. They care! Lee has a great rapport with clients and he has a genuine interest in them. I walked in unannounced after not seeing Lee for a couple of years - he made me feel like it had been a couple of weeks - I didn't need to explain what I wanted - I just said whatever you think.. as always he started and I watched a guy who is skillful, confident and experienced. His Place is Our Place for my family and friends and so long as we can get there..it always will be.
Always a pleasure getting a cut from Lee or his team. And does an excellent job with my son’s hair. My 5 year old has never been too keen on the barbers but always looks forward to his cut with Lee. Keep being awesome! Thanks :)
