   A month before my doctoral graduation, I scheduled to have my hair styled on May 13th at 1:50pm. I asked the receptionist to please schedule me extra time as my hair is very thick and straight. I told them that my hair will fall flat and I want extra care taken to make sure it holds for the day (I'm thinking pre-treated with mousse or curling gel and finished with each tendril hairsprayed). I figured the hairstylist would need to clean my hair, so I went with it prewashed, but wet. The stylist did say at the end of my appt that she was glad I came prewashed because.... I was only given the normal 30 minute slot. It took her 20 minutes to dry my hair. 20 minutes into the appt she goes to look at the appt book. I knew. I said when is your next appt. She said "10 minutes". I said can you even style it in 10 minutes, she said sure no problem, I'm not stressed. And I said well, it stresses me out because I asked for extra time because my hair is thick. I was so upset I almost started crying/rage walked out, but kept my calm hoping for the best. It was a very important day for me and I was already stressed. She quickly went through with a flat iron which I do not believe held a high enough heat setting (because my hair went flat) and finished with a quick over spray. It costed me $70 for her to dry my hair for 20 minutes and style for 10; such a ripoff. I tried to get over this and not complain, but I cannot get over it. I just feel like I was not listened to or respected and I was left disappointed by the experience in multiple stages. I just wanted my pictures to be beautiful. :'(

Linley and her team are personable and kind and provide such a professional service I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Cheryl’s dedication and expertise ensures I get what “I want” and ensures I walk out happy. While running around the supermarket after my last hair cut I was asked by two different shoppers “where do you go for your hair?” and I told them with pride.

   I recently visited Hair Scene and was thoroughly impressed with the excellent service. My stylist, Tasmyn, was professional, warm, and attentive. Tasmyn's welcome was friendly, and she even enquired about my preferred drink, setting a relaxing atmosphere. Her consultation was detailed and professional, perfectly capturing my desired hairstyle with her expertise. The hair wash was a treat, with a soothing moisturising conditioner applied gently. The entire process, from walking in to the final blow and styling, was efficient, taking just around 45 minutes without any compromise on quality or detail. Owner Linley's brief check and guidance on my hair further assured me of the high standards at Hair Scene. I wholeheartedly recommend Hair Scene to anyone seeking top-notch hair treatment and fantastic service. Keep up the fantastic work, Hair Scene team!

   Tessza is a very professional hairstylist. Whenever I visit the salon, I get treated to a superb cuppa tea served on a silver platter with the full tea set ensemble. Tessza consistently skillfully cuts my hair just the way I like it. She makes sure I get the full service right from the start to minute I leave. She is friendly, relaxed and very good at what she does.

   I got absolutely butchered at a new hairdresser and came in for help as i was about to just shave it off. Sheryl took the time to explain and go over everything she was doing; I was literally going to shave my head it was so bad and she managed to turn it into a decent cut. Genuinely the best stylist I've been to in at least five years. I am so impressed, I'm absolutely going to be coming here for any and all hair needs and I will not hesitate to recommend these ladies. Thank you again to Sheryl i cannot express how much I appreciated the time & care you took.
