   I had a shampoo cut and blow wave with Tara. The cut was exceptionally good and I am delighted with how my cut looks. The salon is clean and tidy and the staff are pleasant and helpful. Highly recommended.

   Are you wanting a keratin treatment? Don’t do it. You’d be better off visiting the Z station next door and running unleaded 91 through your hair. All this talk about how great Fatima is, well guess what, Fatima was a no show this day, so we dropped our daughter off and regrettably left her in the hands of the understudy. OK, so it didn’t work because you didn’t know what you were doing, and then overcharged us on an agreed price equivalent to a GrabOne voucher that you told us not to purchase (hmmm?) but then to not even listen to our feedback or offer any sort of refund leads to this. We took our daughter to an actual professional a week later after the 6 month keratin treatment wore off - they couldn’t believe we had paid nearly $300 for what they were fixing up. Just do the right thing for your customers. Listen to there voices and stop hiding behind your ChatGPT responses. Fatima? Are you there? Perhaps you can give your team a slap for ruining your rep? And a refund too please. It’s Tony, check the emails - my bank account is still valid.

   This place is awesome! Got me in real quick, the guy A.K who did my cut took his time and made sure it was all done nice and evenly, it actually felt like he cared about his work which is refreshing because a lot of barbers these days feel like they’re just rushing to get you out the door.. 10 out of 5 stars, would definitely recommend!

   The before and after of my haircut here. There are additional charges for cutting longer hair, which were mentioned upon booking. There are also additional charges for washing long hair which are not mentioned but is not unconventional. I don't mind paying a bit extra for a quality haircut but this was what I was left with. Completely uneven. The fringe was worse it was cut far too short and unevenly. After getting home and having a proper look at it I went straight to another salon who fixed it for free as it was so messy. Will not be back

   Happy i found this place, my lady gets her hair colored here, but , as far as im concerned, this is the best place i have found in New Zealand for mens hair cuts! I highly recommend, the staff are also nice

   We have been coming up to Melody hair and beauty for 3years now, and never have we been disappointed, th customer service is great, even with my 2boys, they always leave so happy with their haircuts, we will continue to come back regularly ☺️ 10/10 for sure! Highly recommend

   Happy with hair cut service and good deals on grabone but poor management. Staff rescheduled my appointment first then owner/manager called and told I can’t reschedule on the same day so had to attend it. He was also asking for more money as he had specially booked me on boxing day & I wanted to reschedule but when I had booked, no one had informed me all this t&c although I had clearly asked that they are open on that day and other t&c. At the time of booking they didn’t inform anything and later on came with this drama.

   Malak did an amazing job. He is a genius. I was unsure of what I needed and he helped make an informed decision and then went to work. The result is amazing and I love it! This salon gets busy but all the guys are so friendly and lovely. I encourage anyone to give Malak a try. You will not be disappointed. Thanks, I will be back.
