   We love this place, food is always great, hot and fresh. They cook it in front of you and it’s very entertaining, kid friendly or fun for a few drinks as the start of a good night

   Food and entertainment were good, but the service ruined it. We waited 25 mins before anyone approached us and an hour before the chef started cooking. No one checked in or offered more drinks, and when I went to the counter, I was just asked if I wanted to settle up. I get they were short-staffed, but for a Saturday night and the price, I expected much better.

   People often assume Japanese dining is always expensive, but at Ichiban Teppanyaki there’s truly something for everyone. The menu ranges from around $20 through to $70, which makes it accessible whether you’re after a casual bite or a more indulgent evening. You simply can’t fault fresh food cooked right in front of you. Watching the chef skillfully prepare, marinade, and grill the meats and vegetables was phenomenal, the food itself was absolutely flawless. One of the best comments of the night came from my friend, who said: “Teppan is a perfect first date meal, it’s part entertainment, part eating, and you’ve always got something to watch if the conversation dips.” That sums it up perfectly. We dined very early (5:30 PM on a Thursday) as a group of three, and while the food and chef’s effort were outstanding, the entertainment side naturally works better with a bustling room. I’d recommend going at a busier time, or with a larger group, to really capture the full experience. Service outside of the chef’s performance felt minimal, but that’s almost to be expected, after all, the main attraction here is the grill show itself. I would 100% go back, and next time I’ll bring a big group to enjoy the food, the fun, and the spectacle together.

   Was a decent experience but the normal flare of the chef wasn't there and a few things were missing from the dishes we ordered. Dessert also wasn't good, the pancake was dry and stale but least the ice cream and banana was nice.

   It looks tame outside, but the inside decoration is so Japanese and atmosphere is welcoming and cozy. The BBQ is juicy and fresh, recommended the tempura even the tempura ice cream !! The fire show is fancy ! Good value of the money.
