Nice little blast from the past. For those hoping for a hug with their food, they won’t get it here. Atmosphere is that of a 1980s mall food court, which is to say, nicer than modern mall food courts. They’ve given us free naan near closing before and it’s really good (freezes well). Food is in cafeteria style vats without a lot of color variation, but the flavors are very varied. Butter chicken very sweet and chicken tika masala very salty; we usually get one butter chicken, several daal makhni, rice, naan, onion bhaji, and mango lassis.

β€œHello, I bought samosas from Spice Trades but they were not fresh (seemed 2–3 days old). Please maintain freshness and hygiene for customers.”

Went to Johnsonville Mall Spice Traders at the Food Court. Service at the counter was terrible (completely silent, no smile, or reactions at all!). Cook also can out to have a look and also very unfriendly. Food was terrible. I ordered a chicken Dosa. Tasteless and chicken was very tough. Wonder how this business can survive. I have have many Dosa in my life and this was the worst ever!

When dining in, the curry is still served in takeaway container. I appreciate this as that means that you are getting the same amount that you would get if you had ordered takeaway. At other indian places nearby you choose to dine in and receive about 1/2 less curry than if you chose takeaway for the same price... This place is different. The lamb korma had an excellent flavor that other places lacked. Food was hot, flavourful and well presented overall a 5/5.

Going before the lunch hour and earlier in the day I had mentally prepared myself I’d be getting served the leftovers from the day before. But even after nuking the rice and curry in microwave it was handed to me lukewarm so had to reheat at home. Sounds like most other reviews get the same cold food 1 star for the cheese and garlic naan. -5 for the major food safety concern serving lukewarm chicken. Needs the council food safety department visit

Poor and cold food . $24 total waste. Naan is fully wet. Can swim in watery curry . Never recommend

If there was a zero rating I'd be giving it. Food was cold. Garlic Naan had no garlic and cost $20. Told them food was cold and they said I don't know. I said check it. Got a crook tummy later. Won't be dining here again.

The naan was good. Paneer with mushroom was too thick and the lamb was okay. But served in very disgusting conditions. The portion was too much for the bowl. Prices seems comparatively high and not worth enough.
