   I ws really looking forward to Bella Italia but left feeling disappointed. Had the garlic pizza bread which was good unfortunately the main course of lasagne was extremely disappointing. Luke warm with hard lumps in it, it seemed to have been microwaved, bland flavour and lacking any bechamel sauce. It was covered with a passata type sauce which tasted of tomato as it had just come straight out of the bottle/can as I said very disappointing as i was really looking forward to it as I had heard good things about the restaurant. I had the Black Forest Gateau for dessert which was good, nice flavour and moist. Staff all fine

   This is our favourite restaurant in Wellington! My boyfriend and I love going there for dinner whenever we craved for Italian food. The food in La Bella is consistently excellent! My bf usually orders his favourite Calabrese calzone. It tasted really good and it’s huge! I usually have pasta but on my last visit I had bolognese (which to my surpise, it can be ordered in adult portion). I could tell they used fresh pasta and tomato sauce! For me, it’s one of the best pastas I’ve had. Great customer service as the staff were attentive and quick to serve us. I like the ambience as it’s giving Italian vibes. Also, you can buy Italian products (meat products , olives, pasta, etc) after eating. We were supposed to have dessert (they have cakes and gelatos) but we were so stuffed already. Anyway, overall, it’s a remarkable dining experience ~ as always!

   Food was really good. We ordered four cheese pizza, salmon pasta and tiramisu. The price is quite high but it's worth. Service was nice, food came out fast. Definitely come back here next time.

   Definitely my fave place to go for Italian food! The perfect blend of flavours in the pizza that were not over powering but also not boring either. The food was very well prepared, served hot and service was exceptional. Pasta fabulous texture and taste. Calamari is a MUST! Deserts were wonderful too. Overall, loved the food and vibe here and would come back.

   Is there a better Italian restaurant in New Zealand? Probably not. We have been here several times in recent years even though it's a trip of 90 km each way. This time was for my birthday and it made my day.This is a place you will really appreciate because they appreciate their guests. Very nice to have the owner doing the rounds of the tables genuinely interested in the opinions and enjoyment of his diners, thanks Antonio. Your attitude is reflected in your staff too.

   Fabulous experience from start to finish. Waitress let us know they were short staffed, but the service wasn’t compromised at all, with plenty of check ins by staff. Meals arrived quickly, absolutely mouth-wateringly good. Appreciated an outside table upon request, which the staff offered to help move when the January drizzle hit. Hope to dine here again next time we’re in town.

   The place is great very busy I would recommend reserving a table beforehand. Nice Italian food for whomever enjoys it. Bit pricey compared to the portion and simplicity of the ingredients. They serve Halal food as well all chicken,lamb, beef so that's a plus for them The dishes in picture shown cost us $172.00
