This is a good sushi place to go if you want something easy. This is definitely on the more expensive side of sushi but you wouldn’t have it often. The staff are very nice. As I am a picky eater they re made a sushi for me the way I like it and still charge the same price. As I have been to Japan before I would definitely recommend going there for the sushi but I personally like the salmon and avocado sushi. I wouldn’t come here for the best sushi of my life but this is still good for mall food. If you come to north city I would definitely recommend to try all the places and find the place you like. I have tried most places and I think sushiya is a good quick meal. Definitely recommend for people you haven’t tried the sushi in Japan.

Absolutely Pathetic Portion, Complete Rip Off. I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken set menu expecting a proper meal, but what I got was an absolute joke. They gave me descent sized bowl packed with an absurd amount of steamed rice and barely a few miserable scraps of chicken, if you could even call them that. It was laughable and insulting for the price they charged. The chicken was more of a garnish than a main dish. For something labeled as a set menu, this was a disgrace. I ended up having to throw 3/4 of the rice away, it was inedible on its own and then had to spend more money ordering food from another place just to feel like I actually ate. This was not just disappointing, it was a complete waste of money and time. Definitely would NOT recommend. Whoever thought this was an acceptable portion should seriously reconsider what they’re serving. One of the worst food experiences I’ve had in a long time.

I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken Set Menu and the Katsu Chicken Set Menu. The meals were not worth the money β€” mostly rice with very little chicken. The food lacked flavor and tasted bland. The salad was just a small amount of cabbage, and the miso soup tasted old and unpleasant. It was so bad I couldn’t eat it and ended up throwing the food away. Not worth even half the price.

Pure rip off. Only thing keeping this place going is a) no other sushi stores nearby, b) location, which they'll never give up. Disgusting how they charge $14 for 8 small pieces which cost less than $1 for the whole roll to make including productions costs. Stay away

Best sushi in town, kids love it and visit every Sunday.

They charged me $31 for 2 teriyaki chicken which should have been $20. Used paywave and didn't realize until I got home. Not worth the petrol to go back but I won't be visiting again.

Very disappointing sushi. Rice was dry, very little filling in the sushi rolls purchased. Average price of packets of sushi about two dollars more than other sushi outlets. To top it off, after spending over forty dollars on their food, they wanted to charge fifty cents for a plastic bag. Service was very rude and customers come last at this food outlet. As a regular diner at many restaurants and food vendors I advise you to steer clear of this uncaring / tasteless business.

Just had some of this β€œsushi” hands down the worst sushi I’ve had in my life. Nothing was fresh, tasteless and it look like it was made three days ago, even bits of Cartlidge in the chicken.

Very overpriced. Boring and bland. Almost more insulting is he fact they don’t provide wasabi or ginger, just a tiny tiny bottle of soy sauce. $12 for 7 basic pieces is so terrible. Can do better my self lol
