   I ordered food online on 10/11/2025 afternoon for our staffs . From the taste to portion everything was top notch. And definitely want to mention about Rara(sorry if I pronounce the name wrong) excellent communication, patience and customer service. Definitely visiting again. Thank you.

   Very good service. Atmosphere was good, could be better. Food could be better however it did not appear authentic Jordanian. I have had authentic Jordanian shawarma and mandi before in Middle East. Shawarma bread seemed made from frozen bread… it did not seem fresh. The mandi meat was dry.

   Highly Disappointing Dinner: Salty Entrees, Dry Mains, and Poor Service ​My family and I, all of whom consider ourselves foodies constantly exploring new restaurants, chose Petra Shawarma for our weekend dinner, a decision I deeply regret. ​We were all quite hungry and ordered an entrée and a main course each. I chose the falafel as my entrée, and it was so incredibly salty I couldn't finish it. It was practically inedible. For my main, I had the Chicken Shawarma with salad. The chicken was dry, lacked flavor, and tasted completely different from what I expected from a quality shawarma. While we were hungry enough to somehow finish off the main courses, the overall poor quality of the food immediately put us off. ​We had initially planned on ordering desserts, but after the awful mains and entree, we didn't even bother looking at the dessert menu. ​To top off a frustrating meal, my wife had a very unpleasant interaction with the server on our way out. As my wife politely said "Good night" while leaving the restaurant, the waitress questioned her in a way that made her feel uncomfortable and targeted. ​This dinner was a terrible experience from start to finish. The food quality was far below acceptable standards, and the poor service, culminating in the awkward exchange on exit, ensured we will never be returning to Petra Shawarma. ​Rating: 1/5

   Absolutely delicious food and super friendly service! You can feel the love in the food. Had hummus and pita, kibbeh, falafel on rice and lamb mandi between two and it was perfect. Love the fresh salad as well.

   Went here on a Thursday night and it was quiet, however food was great as was the service. Staff where friendly and helpful with everything. Meal itself was nice and had a nice variety of different rice or wrap dishes, large selection of vegetarian options as well, was a good change and something a bit different from the burgers, Italian etc. Would recommend and go back.

   I really was feeling a shawarma and was looking for the best in Auckland, after reading the reviews I decided to order from here and get it delivered by deliveroo, service was swift and the food arrived hot, I was so looking forward to this once it arrived I was pleasantly surprised how good the food was, it was delicious. I highly recommend this establishment, top quality food.

   This was a cute little place in the heart of Kingsland but the food was stunning. It was Jordanian taste at its best. The hummus is in-house made and to die for. Do try their pomegranate tea as well. I wish the quantity was a bit more but still was a great experience. I highly recommend.

   Wow. What an amazing experience. (1 Vegan and 1 Vegetarian here). The food was so fresh, delicious with a home made touch that will definetly have us coming back for more. The customer service is so good. We were served by Rama who gave us the best recommendations which were all so delicious and exactly what she promised. We had 2 Ice Teas which are refreshing, a sweetness well balanced and not sikly sweet. The Wrap is literally perfect, crunchy on the outside and fresh in the middle. The Mixed Platter was perfect for 2 and just enough to feel satisfied. We had dessert after with a Basbousa, a Baklava and a Rose Water and Coconut Jello which seems like a lot but we wanted to try them all hehe complemented with a hot Cardamom tea of course hehe. A good place for Vegans as the menu has a lot of Vegan options. Thanks for having us team. 5 Stars A+
