   It was pretty darn good. Came back from Japan last week and would say that it is on par with a regular standard/ good Japanese restaurant. The sashimi is very fresh. The rice portion at the base is a bit smaller than usual compared to Japanese volumes but all the ingredients were authentic and completely delicious.

   My new favourite izakaya style dining in Auckland. Comfortably the best and most legitimate experience in these parts too. Good food including things like fried mackerel and some of the smaller dishes like bean sprouts.

   Incredible energy the moment we stepped through the door. The staff were so incredibly lovely and the service was top notch. Plenty of options on the menu too. Food came out quite quickly and it was INSANE. Cooked perfectly and so flavourful. A highlight was definitely the yum yum scallops. Would highly recommend this place!!

   Not only is the food at Sake Nippon Bar delicious, but the portion sizes are ideal. We ate a range of dishes, but my personal favourite was the chicken katsu. The chicken was fresh, flavourful and crunchy. The service is excellent. Food is served promptly. The atmosphere is conducive to conversation. However, on other occasions, it has been quite loud.

   I’ve been here a couple of times. The place is so popular I still haven’t sat at the main venue. I shall go back and sit by the grille! The food is lovely, but I would prefer to have more selection for BBQ skewers. How come they only have 9 options! Remember to book a seat before you come.

   Loved the drum roll I got when I entered. It instantly lifted up my mood. The wine list has good range of sake, wines and beers. The food was delicious and service was quick and efficient. They had great vegetarian options too.

   the waitresses were very kind and helpful. The music is nice. The oyster mayo took 30minutes !to get on the table.The pork Gyoza was delicious! The prawn tempura sauce was very smooth ，and the prawn was very juicy and qq弹弹. not recommended for people who are cheap，overall okay it was just the oyster mayo. The alchols and drinks were quick and there are many options to choose from.

   First time trying. Nice ambiance here and the staff there are all friendly. Food here is not bad, more pricey than you would spend for similar food but they were done well. The takoyaki was creamy inside with chunky squid, the prawn sushi was very nice but portion a bit small. The kingfish was nice, especially with a little bit of lemon juice and soy sauce. Will definitely come back again to try the yakisoba and the grilled squid.
