Unfortunately visited here this week for what we expected to be a great meal. What we got was extremely rude service from the manager and below average food with watered down drinks. We asked for a table outside by the waterfront - and the friendly waitress seated us there. Then the manager approached us and told us to move to the inside β€˜alleyway’ to another table. I explained that we waited for the outside table for 20 minutes and the waitress seated us here. He then said that the waitress was wrong and that we could sit at his table choice or leave. Since this was the only restaurant that was not crowded we stayed. Our food was cold and tasted like fast-food from Taco Bell. Furthermore- the drinks were watered down to practically ice and water. A complete waste of time, money and an overall terrible experience. I’d suggest going to any one of the other amazing restaurants in the waterfront area…. But stay far away from this place.

Nice place for lunch, good view of Viaduct, food was nice and the service was okay too.

We came as a large group and they were able to accommodate us. We had the set menu, where we were able to sample some of each entrΓ©e and then choose a type of main each. The food was lovely and we were definitely full by the end, as we also had churros for dessert.

We had dinner at Frida Cocina Mexicana at Auckland’s Viaduct Harbour. The setting is casual and unpretentious β€” more of a laid-back lunch spot, but it worked fine for a relaxed evening meal. Service was friendly and very quick, which we appreciated. The frozen margarita was refreshing, and the food was tasty and came out fast. Overall, it’s a nice place if you’re looking for a simple, quick, and satisfying Mexican meal in a central location.

Prime location, food is so so. Suitable for work gather or groups. It’s a little pricey but understandable due to location rent and costs etc but you will be sitting right in front of water which is nice. I won’t go into detail about the food because it’s somewhere between acceptable and not bad…, will leave it to your own judgment.

Absolutely blown away by the service at Frida. Isabella was so friendly and accommodating. She provided us with blankets and even came back to confirm that the chefs knew about our dietary requirements - made such a difference for my gluten free friend. We were just thrilled, and then the food was amazing! Will absolutely be back. Thanks Isabella and Frida team!

Went here for dinner and had such a great experience! The waiter was so lovely and and accommodating. The drinks were so delicious! Especially the margaritas in the fish bowls! And the food was outstanding. It was so well seasoned and the guacamole was the best I’ve ever had. Overall it was such a great restaurant and I’ll happily be back!

Regularly dine here and love introducing my friends and family to Fridas. Great range of cocktails and various margarita flavours, always love getting a different drink each visit. Best part is the service, waiters are so friendly and attentive. Tasty food and usually grab the nachos or quesadillas - perfect for sharing.

This was our first dinner in Auckland after a very long flight - right in the Viaduct restaurant district overlooking the harbor. Great location! We unfortunately missed happy hour but sat on the patio. Service was a bit slow but staff was friendly. We had to figure out that you need to go up to the bar to order. Our server forgot about our ceviche but all the food was good! Hubs got the strawberry basil marg and I had a glass of sauv blanc. The ceviche was good but there was not enough ceviche - way more chips, so they should fix the ratio. My barbacoa tacos were simple with just the barbacoa, onion and guac but they were delicious! My husband loved his enchiladas as well. Great spot with a few service things to work on but we enjoyed it.
