We had our Run Group Christmas dinner here recently, and the food was incredible. The staff were amazing, and the atmosphere was perfect. We were a group of 23 people with different dietary requirements and nothing was a problem. Thank you so much Tuguy and his team. We can highly recommend it here.
Good service without the feeling of hovering around. Tasty food, heavier style flavour of a family style meal and very tasty. The arancini / risotto croquet starters were very nice. Osso bucco slow cooked to being fork tender. Would go back again.
We loved their new summer menu, especially the clam vongole and chicken diablo! Asparagus pasta was amazing too! Love the vibes here such a gem in Grey Lynn, would highly recommend:)
Went here for a birthday lunch and was not disappointed! Food was delicious (tiramisu dessert is fantastic and a good size serving!), service was prompt and professional and friendly. Atmosphere was very relaxing and aesthetically pleasing. Will definitely return.
It was disappointing as we read the reviews was great, but step in.. no smile.. the manager (I assumed) found our booking on their book and point us to the table (not lead us to the table), we order a bottle of wine, waitress didn't let us taste it 1st and just pour 2 glasses. We ask manager what is their special/recommends.. the manager didn't know her menus, just said the menu is new.. try pasta.. and here is pizza select (pointed at a side selection) Meals were served incorrect to a couple of tables (included our) and service were also slow.. Bread dip have almost no vintage, but lot of oil (why would you serve dip in a black bowl), my fish was dry (save by the risoni).. tiramisu was soggy.. next table order Squid ink ravioli was also served in a black plate, why??
Very nice rustic Italian cafe. We were served quick and the staff were nice and attentive. Ordered the Lasagne and Eggy Carbonara. Both were presented well, tasty and filling, just a tad salty the more you ate. Keen to go back for other menu items.
