   I’ve always been a fan of Denny’s and especially loved the hot fudge cake, which is why I keep coming back. However, to my surprise, the one served to us tonight was very disappointing. It had less chocolate syrup, no ice cream, and no cherry. How could that be? Even a simple explanation would have been appreciated, but unfortunately, none was given. Truly sad and not what I expected from Denny’s.

   the hot fudge cake is the best dessert in auckland. been coming to dennys for years and the dessert selection has never missed. our server jo was very accomodating and friendly as well, overall a great experience

   I ordered breakfast on uber from this restaurant, I have never had a more disappointing meal delivered in my life! I ordered my eggs poached and they arrived dry as, might as well have been boiled. The hash brown was just shredded potatoes that weren’t even cooked properly and was cold. It had one tiny thin price of streaky bacon. I order my eggs to be runny so I don’t have to add sauce or anything but this wasn’t the case and I couldn’t eat it at all. I ordered pancakes with ice cream for the wife and it said on the description “generous” portion of ice cream. It was just one table spoon scoop. If I was in store and received this, I would definitely have given it back. Do not order breakfast on uber from this appalling restaurant.

   We went there for dessert and chips and had a lovely time. It was quiet enough to have a good catch-up, yet it was quite busy as well. We were seated quickly. Our server was helpful. The restaurant is located at the bottom of Wairau Park and includes lots of parking, which is handy. When looking out the huge windows, we looked out onto a duck pond.

   The service was not very good. The waitress didn't make any effort to welcome you. The food I ordered was pumpkin soup. The bowel looks big, but it was extremely shallow!!! It was about 150mls!! Don't recommend this place!!

   Saturday 4pm. Partner and I rocked up hungry as. Despite being sceptical from our last experience eating here about year ago. we decided to give it another chance. Customer service was excellent, warmly greeted and seated as soon as we arrived, by friendly female staff. didn't have to wait long for order to be taken. Food came out hot and almost correct. Staff apologized and bring out the missing egg from my premium burger. Didn't mind, glad they were transparent and communicated this with me. Curly fries were cooked to perfection, golden, crispy n crunchy. partner ordered the chicken Melt which was crunchy, tasty an delicious. Atmosphere was a little cold,. Could either turn ac off or up as it's already cold an was making customers cough n sneeze. We enjoyed our food and our dining experience. I would recommend this Denny's for anyone looking for a nice hot delicious burger or toastie, who knows we could potentially be back for another meal.
