I do recommend ordering earlier in the day if you do want brown rice because they often run out after lunch. When this happened to me I instantly received a message phone call from the staff explaining the situation and my options- great communication.”

“I must say Nandos Porirua has made the food so good, it felt like the original taste. Chicken was so moist and succulent, it just melted in mouth. Chips were addictive. Looking to try coleslaw next time to see if it has redeemed the same original taste. Thanks Margo for a great service. Although it longer than normal but it worth the wait.”

They have some dishes that you can't find in other Thai restaurant, such as the chicken wing stuffed with minced pork and vermicelli (wow), and sum tum salad, which has sliced deep fried chicken/beef and lettuce aside (wow). Though their Tom Yum soup is very average. So I guess it depends what you order. And the bar is really good, the Lemon, lime & bitters only costs $3.”

“I had a wonderful experience at the Indian Sweets and Snacks shop in Newtown. The food is absolutely delicious, and the sweets are beautifully decorated and always fresh. The customer service is excellent – the staff are friendly and genuinely care about their customers. On one occasion, I accidentally forgot my wallet at the shop. Later that evening, I called them and was relieved to find out they had kept it safe for me. When I went back with my daughter to collect it, the staff were so kind and even offered sweets to her. That thoughtful gesture really touched me.”

“Our sever was amazing, very polite young gentleman. The food was delicious, served hot fresh and very quickly. Couldn't fault anything at all. Highly recommend for a family dinner. Kids loved the both the green tea and apple tea. If you have never had apple tea, strongly suggest you give it a go :) Next time we are in Tawa we definitely will be back.”

“Lewis C at the queensgate store today was friendly and awesome!! (Name taken from my receipt) My family and I went in at a super hectic time and were all good to wait a while for assistance as everyone was busy with customers. Managing a retail store myself, I know it can be hard to get to everyone when the customers out number the staff in a big way-but Lewis made sure everyone around him was being looked after and constantly checked in on us, as well as keeping us in the loop if he was going to be a couple mins longer than normal getting my son his shoes or checking sizes on the computer as he had 2-3 customers to look after at the same time as us. We would have been totally understanding if he hadn’t said anything along those lines as we could see he was busy, but it really stood out to us that he took something like that into consideration and he built really great rapport with my 9 year old. I haven’t had customer service like his in a really long time and If my store wasn’t a space that only hires female staff, I would have 100% approached him for my own store haha!”
