“Highly recommend this daycare! Your child will be loved and cared for. Couldn't fault them at all. All the teachers had such a great relationship with my son and he loved every single one of them. There was never a moment I worried about him going there and not being safe. The center is very well set out and has a great outdoor area for little ones to play and explore.”

“Our experiences at Kaleidoscope has been amazing. After 4 years with Kaleidoscope, we are very sad to say goodbye as our girl heads off to school. Kaleidoscope staff have been nothing but welcoming, supportive, friendly and loving all while providing a stable educational setting for our daughter to grow and flourish into the individual she is. They have always taken the time to support her in her interests and develop her with skills that have set her up for a smooth transition into school. I would recommend Kaleidoscope to anyone who is looking for a home away from home.”

“Great spot for kids. We have both of ours in there, and the kaioko have been amazing with them and updating us when we need to know or otherwise ask. The opening hours are great too as it allows for parents with long working hours. Highly recommended.”

Went above and beyond for us when I lost my wallet and truly gave MANAAKITANGA that is rare in congested tourist places. Location was amazing, rooms were spacious. “Absolutely Outstanding! I cannot speak highly enough of Above & Beyond Castle Tauriko. My son attends this centre, and from day one, the care, love, and support he has received has blown me away. Sam and the entire team of teachers are simply incredible — warm, nurturing, and genuinely invested in each child’s growth and happiness. Even though we don’t live or work in the area, we continue to travel to the Castle every day because nothing else compares. The way they care for my son gives me total peace of mind — I know he’s not only safe but thriving in their hands. The environment is fun, enriching, and full of heart, and the connection the staff create with families is something truly special. “I use this org every fortnight for an access venue. Firstly, the people who I deal with are the most loving helpful people. The venue itself is a godsend. It is our home away from home. There are no words that can explain how much Kidz Need Dadz means tō me and my family. Love Love Love.”

“Do not stop here if you want fancy, price reflects this. Do stop here if you want a fantastic historic building, quirky and full of character! Plenty of parking out front or beside the hotel. Free WiFi which works! Clean rooms, heaters, ample space in the rooms. Personally I loved the old tiled bathroom, reminds me of schools in the 80/90s or from the shining..... you decide. Looks like it's recently been carpeted throughout. Currently lots of renovation ongoing, hopefully restoring it's beauty. Shops all around for evening meals, breakfasts, even a laundrette next door. Kettle and fridge in the room, even with hot choc sachets! There is a shared kitchen on the landing if you chose to cook. We had the studio/family room. Double bed and two singles, seating area and TV. For a budget stop, highly recommended!”

“We love Best Start. The facilities are a little worn and old but the staff are incredible and they make the centre an amazing place for my kiddo. They're always engaged and there are always great activities available and they genuinely care for the children attending.”

“I have had two children attend Kids on 19, with one still currently attending. The teachers are some of the most genuine people you will meet, who go over and above to meet the needs of the children attending and wider whanau. They have been the subject of some very unfair and misguided media critique, fueled by people with their own separate agendas. I am a very safety conscious person and if I had any concerns about my children attending whatsoever I would move them. I would not hesitate to recommend Kids on 19 to any parent looking for a wonderful centre.”
