“Paid NZ$ 147.61 for 1 night stay in Nov 2023 in Lisa's B & B after 18% discount from credit card. Booked through Agoda. 1. Stayed in a separate room from the main house. It was a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. 2. The room was clean, neat, tidy and very spacious. The bed was comfortable. 3. The air-con was powerful and cold. 4. The attached toilet and bathroom was clean and spacious too. The water pressure and drainage was good. They provided bath and face towels. 5. The wifi was stable. 6. Lisa was very polite and friendly. She is a great host. 7. They provided simple breakfast such as bread, cereal, yoghurt, jam, etc. 8. Car can be parked at the front porch area. 9. There are some eateries about 2-3 minutes’ drive away.”

“From the moment we arrived we had the warmest greeting from our wonderful hosts Gwen and Bill ... Immaculate room with kitchenette and bathroom ... Comfy bed and chairs to unwind and relax in ... The nicest place we've stayed in ... A number of eateries within walking distance ... Also great that I was able to lock my bike safely away in the garage ... Would definitely love to come back here again my ... Highly recommend”

“Highly recommend Tiger House! Very peaceful & relaxing stay, quiet, with an expansive outlook from the kitchen window. The outdoor bath is a great spot & the pool would be awesome in summer. The outdoor fire makes it really cosy & its such a unique spot, feels very foreign! Nice Citta towels & bedding. Host Woody was very accomodating & communicative, left us breakfast provisions & fresh fruit & local coffee, much appreciated. Until next time!”

“Absolutely amazing 2 night stay. Loved every minute. We stayed with our two teenage daughters who loved sleeping in the loft. Everything was pristine and clean. Bedding was comfortable and the garden was beautiful. Easy walk downhill into Napier town centre. If we could package up the house and take it with us on holiday, we would! “If you are looking for a calm and nice hideout this is the best place. Felt like this is our little cottage for the past few days. Stunning morning view as soon you open the windows simply it will take your breath away. Hosted by a lovely family and had a chance to meet their friendly doggy (Rubble) Cottage got a vintage vibe for us felt as if we are back in our home (Sri Lanka). Looking forward to seeing this nice place again.”

“Note. This was accommodation on a business trip, but i so regretted that my wife was not here i selected 'Couples". An absolute slice of luxury just on the outer edge of Taradale. Font vome here alone - you will be introuble with your partner. With three well appointed bedrooms each wth ensuite would well suite a group of couples or a family. Great tech and fast wifi also. I connected to the bluetooth entertainment centre and enjoyed my own tunes immensely. The spa was A+++”

“Best working hostel in NZ! Rob (manager) goes well out of his way to get you a job and makes you feel at home. I ended up staying for around 7 months and during lockdown! It is a working hostel so everyone stays long term and has a job. Made friends for life here and have so many amazing memories.”

“The house looks oldish on the outside but is contemporary on the inside (we like old buildings you see). Wouldn't hesitate to stay again, the owner is super friendly and man his breakfast is really the BEST! Again I say it's worth the $ just for the breakfast. :)”
