Due to the pressure of lockdown , transitioning my daughter at the age of 9 months had its difficult moments as a mother but the Kaiako here at Active Explorers were flexible, understanding and supportive through the whole journey. My daughter is nearly 2 and still to this day love sending her here. I love to see her excitement every day , and her affection she shows to both her Kaiako and her peers.”

“Outstanding Care and Professionalism - Highly Recommended I had the privilege of participating in a clinical trial sponsored by Assembly Biosciences at PCRN Waikato in October 2025, and I cannot speak highly enough of Dr Victoria, Nurse Janice, and the entire team. From my very first appointment, I felt welcomed, valued, and genuinely cared for. Dr Victoria took the time to thoroughly explain every aspect of the trial, answered all my questions with patience and clarity, and ensured I felt completely comfortable with my decision to participate. Her professionalism and expertise were evident throughout the entire process. Nurse Janice was absolutely wonderful - warm, attentive, and incredibly skilled. She made every visit pleasant and was always available to address any concerns I had. Her compassionate approach and attention to detail made what could have been an intimidating experience feel reassuring and positive. The entire PCRN Waikato team demonstrated exceptional organisation, communication, and commitment to participant care. “Our kids truly love this kindy. I really value my children feeling they can do things on their own, and are encouraged to do so. It has the most amazing outdoor area for the kids to explore, and are actively encouraged to test their abilities by the teachers. My children come back so proud of the 'creations' they have made each day, and I know that as much as they have used the hot glue gun themselves, it was in a safe and supervised environment. It's so rewarding seeing at home how much they have progressed in academic areas like puzzles or recognising letters. But also in the ways they interact with others and problem-solving through their frustrations.”
