The receptionist was great and the person that was assigned to help me, William, was very friendly and helpful. Generally when you visit a shop like this, you can feel a little pressure to buy something even if you're unsure it is a good match, especially if you've tried several products. I didn't get that feeling at all from Adairs: William answered all of my questions and let me try out several products without any issue. I'd definitely recommend checking out Adairs if you're looking for a good pillow and want to deal with good staff.”

Over the years the Cedar French doors through the house were badly scratched by our big dogs. Bates took them away a few weeks ago and returned them in brand new condition after careful machine sanding ( solid wooden doors are the best.) Now rehung by Bates and looking fabulous. Saved a couple hundred bucks over buying new. We felt like things were priced pretty fair. Basically what you want to sell things for if you were the seller but still a few bargains in there. Amazing variety of items, you could spend half the day in there! The guy at the counter was friendly, had a nice chat and a laugh when we paid but great how he leaves you to look at things rather than trying be a salesman and bothering you. Love this place, will be back :)”
