“My first train ride on the western line since electrification went from Sturges road station near RYMAN village to see Grandaughter in Newmarkets Teed St. WOW, absolutely so incredibly impressed with our new electric trains, smooth as! Our airlines could learn something from the passenger comfort and roominess of carriages. No sardine style seating plenty of space, and absolutely sparkling clean! The inspectors are very friendly and informative! The biggest surprise was at Newmarket station, beautiful building and exit into a well appointed courtyard with excellent signage! The turnstile staff were absolutely amazing, informative and friendly. Thanks so much for all your help everyone! After getting quotes of $800+ for 2 pallets from Christchurch to Paraparaumu from Mainfreight etc I was at first a little skeptical of the Freighthub quote of $126 per pallet. However I took the plunge and booked it through them. Not only did they pick up within 5 hours from our warehouse but they delivered it to the customer in the north island the next day in only 23 hours total transit time. Excellent email responses from them with ticketing info and nice to not have to go through all the credit application process too.Will definitely be using them again for bulk freight.”
