“Good school, was great when I use to go there many years ago. Never had any issues”
“Was one of the first students through this school. It has been great from the start and the facilities have improved steadily since its opening. A great long serving principle has guided the school well”
“Two of my kids have been here (so far), and it's a great school, the teachers are excellent, the support (when needed) is great too, we are very lucky that it's our local school.”
“Nostalgic to think back to all the great memories made at this school. Especially the intermediates years and extra-curricular provided.”

“Nice Christian school! My girl loves the great teachers and students”
“Really happy with the staff and teachers of this school. My kids do not want to miss school and it is a mission to keep them home when they are not well. They do not want to miss school even when not feeling well. Good Islamic teaching, my older girl is on Siparah 30 and she will finish Quran within 4 weeks and start hifzing. Academic education is excellent and same with sports. Students get to pray Zohar namaaz. What else can we ask for. Thank you Al-Madinah School for being there for our kids”
“Brilliant school . Lovely teachers and lovely principal .. Great job takapuna primary and staff :)”
“WBHS has been an incredible privilege for our son to attend. His engagement and academic results are in another league now that he's at WBHS. A testament to the calibre and dedication of the leadership and staff!!”
“I was there for the Auckland Grammar old boys annual dinner and awards ceremony in the old boys pavilion. With close to 200 people present and some very notable people it's no wonder that people want to send their children to this school. The ethos of the school has not changed which therefore creates an atmosphere and a learning environment where the students are given every chance to excel. Even in the troubling times of Covid the school continues to work through the process and where other schools are struggling to get their student numbers back, Auckland Grammar student numbers are well above the average.”
“Good school despite bad press in news. My son loves it and the teachers are awesome and supportive.”
“Great school, awesome teachers, friendly staff”
“I could not be happier with this school for my children. Small class sizes. Passionate teachers. Excellent academic results.”
“My time at G.E.I.S was a good one. The school had great facilities and was well funded. The teachers I had experience with were all competent and friendly. I see the school is constantly getting upgraded and improved so its definitely not run-down. Its great to have such a school in the community.”
“Friendly helpful staff and a wonderful cheerful country school.”
“Our son loves it so far great staff”
“I’ve been at the school’s office yesterday to enquire about enrolment and I was very warm welcome by a staff member.”

“Great country school environment ... don't be afraid to have high expectations, it's your childs' future.”
“My children have had the thankful opportunity to be involved in the waterwise programme held at this school on the pupuke lake.”
“If you're starting at Mount Albert Grammar, make the most of every moment. Not only so valuable lessons in terms of knowledge and academic subjects but life lessons as well. So many opportunities available as well as support from staff. When you're told ''join a club'' or ''contribute with some form of service'' I highly recommend you do. Even one or two things will make all the difference in school life. Put in as much effort as you can and the school will do the same in return. In these important crucial years, I couldn't think of a place I'd rather have been at.”
“Great school. Friendly, modern and well-equipped”
“Went here prolly around the year 1997-1999 when Ms Monroe was the principle.. Best teachers I had were ms Karen, and another one I can't remember lol #Kiwis”
“I attended this school from 2006-2011 which was a very long time ago but I think it is a very good school, I remember we had a History day where we learnt about Riverhead and had to dress up in Clothing of the time period of the earlier settlers and the teachers put so much effort into it, it really felt like we wentback in a time machine. The point of that long story is because I think they put so much effort into all the events or special days like Pizza day/ Sushi Day/ Rewards day/ Water sports day/ Mufti Days/ Coin Trails. It was a very long time ago that I attended this school but I think it is a wonderful school based on my past experiences... Not sure what it's like today though.”
