“Im a Licenced Financial Adviser who recommends Partners life Life for my clients on a regular basis. (and have been for the last 10 years) The main reasons are 1) Their products rate highly according to independant research. 2)They are prompt and caring at claim time. 3)They are prompt in responding to service requests. Keep it up Partners life.”

“I would highly recommend Fidelity Life Insurance. My claim was processed in a timely manner & in good faith. Communication & guidance with customer services from beginning to end was smooth & transparent. The outcome deserves a 5+ star rating.”
“We have used Wallace Mclean for many years now and have no complaints at all. They have been fabulous”
“This is the best insurance company I have worked with. We get commercial insurance with a team that makes it so easy. Excellent communications, great rates, a Managing Director that takes calls and helps answer questions, I couldn't ask for more!”
“I am a financial planner who referrers insurance clients to Alistair and Neil from Canopy. Their integrity and high level of professionalism have impressed me from day one and I consistently get very positive feedback from the clients I refer to them.”
“The best advice regarding insurance”
“Refreshingly good customer service from a New Zealand company. And you would think I would have to pay a premium for this, but in fact all three car insurances were lower than State's. I appreciate nothing more than sitting down during work hours, thinking I am going to be in for 15min of being put on hold, and finding I am speaking to a polite, helpful and knowledgeable customers service rep. I have always heard good things about MAS from their customers. Keep up the great work.”
“We’ve had such a good experience with this firm. We’ve been clients for a long time and never had much call for their service until this last 2years - a bad run, with serval claims - they were so helpful, compassionate and made bad situations bearable. Much appreciated. Thanks FMG”
“Courteous and prompt service. No hidden costs.”
“Neil spent time with me, listened to my insurance requirments and understood my needs. I am very happy with the results and know Neil and his team goes that extra mile. Thank you!”
“Reliable, fast, and genuine peace of mind We’ve been with NIB for 11+ years as a family of four, and they’ve consistently delivered when it matters. This week we needed pre-approval for our son’s $2,000 ADHD assessment — NIB came back within 30 minutes with full approval. No stress, no run-around, just a clear, straightforward, and supportive process. In a time when the cost of living is through the roof, that kind of reliability is worth its weight in gold. Every claim we’ve made over the years has been this same straightforward process and had been handled with care. I know there are some negative reviews out there, and personally I don’t like writing reviews, so rarely do them. But after our most recent experience (12th November, 2025) I felt it was important to share that our experience has been the complete opposite. NIB has dependably given us real peace of mind for over a decade, and we’re genuinely grateful. Could not recommend more highly.”
“The default insurance at the University of Canterbury is the Studentsafe policy, provided by Allianz. I had a very positive experience with it over several years. Most of my medical claims were accepted without any issues, which gave me peace of mind during my studies. When I first arrived in New Zealand, I didn’t have a car, so I invested in a brand new, high-quality Giant bike along with top-tier accessories. Unfortunately, they were stolen about a year later. Thankfully, Studentsafe covered a significant portion of the loss, which I really appreciated. One claim that was declined involved belongings that were stolen from my car overnight. I had solid reasons for leaving them in the car, and they were placed out of sight—in the boot and on the back seat, where the windows were tinted. It wasn’t due to negligence. However, I was informed that the policy clearly states items left in a vehicle overnight are not covered. I appealed the decision internally, but it was dismissed. I then requested a "Deadlock" Letter so I could have the matter independently reviewed by the Insurance and Financial Services Ombudsman (IFSO), and they granted one. Although the outcome wasn’t in my favour, I appreciated that Studentsafe gave me the option to pursue the complaint externally—something not all insurers are willing to do. There used to be a question on the claim form asking how many claims you had made previously, which I found concerning at the time, but fortunately, that section has since been removed. Overall, I found the Studentsafe policy reliable, transparent, and supportive when I needed it most, and I would recommend it to other international students.”
“I recently made two separate claims through my travel insurance, one for damage to a rental car and another for a stolen phone. Both claims were processed and paid without any fuss. I would use Allianz again for travel insurance.”
