“We had the most wonderful experience today at the clinic. Despite not being able to make contact via the phone at the start, I was called back and had an appointment made promptly. Not only that, but when we arrived we were appointed Dentist Rehutai, who recognised that we spoke Te Reo Māori and adapted to speak to my children and I in Te Reo. It was a truly calming and inviting experience. Our whānau feel very fortunate to have our local children's dentist acknowledge our tuakiritanga and also it left us feeling empowered and inspired by our wāhine Māori who are healthcare providers as they create a space that is safe for us to be Māori and that our needs are met. Our experience here was just as good, follow up was better and they were more efficient in terms of just immediately treating some minor issues. I truly couldn’t be happier. We’ve visited this clinic several times and seen three to four different dentists, all of whom are incredibly gentle and patient with children. Highly recommend this place, especially Katherine! She’s young, cheerful, and has such a playful approach that it feels like a game for the kids while she completes their dental treatment.”

“I have been using CPAP through the Sleepwell clinic for nearly a year now, and to be honest I have been flabbergasted by the high level of service that is offered, and the overwhelming sincere kindness that every interaction has generated. Everyone bends over backwards to solve every problem. This is true for the staff in the central clinic in Christchurch, but also equally true for the staff in the Nelson clinic. I use both types of CPAP machine, the stationary and the travelling so have generated a range of problems and questions, all of which have been dealt with promptly, kindly, and efficiently. The level of service goes way beyond what I would expect from a health service provider. In the latest instance, they telephoned me to see how things were going. I mentioned a slight problem, which was immediately dealt with. Amazing. thank you. Duncan”

“I have followed Dr Emmerton through his last three clinics. As an expat it was initially confusing for me to understand the NZ mental health system when I needed it most. He was understanding and kind in explaining all of my options and the best avenues for supplemental treatments with other specialists. He also has been extremely helpful when it comes to communication with other doctors like my GP and psychologist. Years ago he helped me combat a really dark period in my life and took the time to trial different medications accompanied by blood tests until we found the right fit. Now I am in a stable place and I see him for yearly check-ins with the ultimate goal of reducing the medications that are no longer needed as much. His office has always been friendly and easy to make appointments with.”
