   Not a great service for our new build made it difficult at ever step

   Walked in to get a quote for a heat shield, no one else in the store and a friendly greeting; all good so far. After scribbling our details on a scrap of paper, we were told by Jessie that she would contact the manufacturer to get said quote. Time goes by (weeks) and we hear nothing so we pop in again. We are then told that she lost our details (surprise surprise) but has the quote for us. After taking our details again, the emailed quote was promised that day. Time goes by (days) and still no quote. We pop in again as it’s near work. More half hearted apologies and the quote was finally sent. The quote was accepted, deposit paid, all fine. Another couple of weeks goes by. Eventually we got a phone call saying it was ready to be picked up, great we said, we’re on our way now… oh, no, it isn’t actually here yet… was the response. So why tell us it’s ready when it’s not?? Ok, we will collect Monday instead then, ok? Ok. So… Monday is here (today), we pop into get the item and guess what… they can’t find it. Off she runs to the manufacturer to actually pick it up while we wait onsite. If it was more than a heat shield I would have cancelled the order long ago. I wouldn’t trust them with a big job if they can’t even hold onto a piece of paper or communicate the correct information. If an item is NOT ready for pick up, DON’T call and tell us it is! Shocking “service”.

   Wow, just wow. We are so happy with our new fire (Woodsman Serene with drawer). Bryan was so helpful from the very first time we went into The Fireman showroom and started looking at fire options, he was so generous with his time and made us feel appreciated. When it came time for the fire to be installed Adam from The Fireman did an absolutely beautiful job and was very efficient, he arrived at 08:00 and was finished by 13:00, this included putting a hole in the ceiling and roof for the chimney, such a professional job. We would highly recommended The Fireman to anyone looking at getting a new fire, they take care of everything needed. Regards Nick and Hayley Burke.

   We had the lovely pleasure of two young men install our beautiful fire place today. Not only were they on time, but early like I kindly requested! From the moment we got The Foreman in to do the quote, talk us through the process and have council consent sorted it was an absolute breeze! Very professional, attentive and what a clean job! We are huge on service, honesty and time constraints and within every aspect they delivered! Huge thank you to the guys that came over today, checking their van to ensure my cat didn’t go for a joy ride - to Jessie who took my call and questions with a bit of laughter and professionalism! We will be recommending you guys from here on in! Mum and dad’s place next ! Outstanding job and team !

   Absolutely atrocious customer service and communication. Apparently our fire, after a chimney sweep,needed some parts. 6 weeks later when WE had to contact them they explained they were still looking for the parts. The next two weeks were us leading whatever communication there was and now they have washed their hands of us. This could have been solved well before the onset of winter if their communication and service was better. Definitely won't be going back to them after being loyal for 10 years.
