Wow! Their steak and oyster pie was delectable! Really tender steak, rich oyster flavour, perfect pastry. Best pie I've had for a very long time. And very friendly service. What a treat!
After questioning how clean the cabinet was, discovered a big embedded in the custard square after a few bites! We will never be back.

We visited this bakehouse twice during our stay in Ngongotaha and were extremely impressed by the quality of food. Incredible choice of delectable delights, both sweet and savoury. The most difficult thing about the experience was deciding what to buy as everything looked so delicious. One day we chose the Steak and oyster pie. It was a great choice. The pie was stacked with large chunks of steak and two whole oysters that more than satisfied the oyster flavour, plus just the right amount of gravy. This bakehouse is a must visit. The pic is of the last mouthful of a standard sized pie. Yummy from the beginning to the end.
