Very good lookout spot on Port Chalmers. You can see a green beautiful fiew, shipping activities, the train going through one side, the islands and the sea on the other side. If you want to get extra bonus, you can explore the Hotere Garden Oputae.
We went on a rainy cloudy day but the story was very interesting! Enjoyed learning all about it.
Great place to get some coffee and snacks at the local market, an excuse to get off the cruise ship. Dunedin didn’t seem like it would be worth the effort, so this checked the box of a small NZ town.
It's a great place to view from , but you can see beautiful sites through out new Zealand, and here are a few, taken on a bus between port Otago and Dunedin
It's a beautiful place. Just be aware that parking will be very dangerous and a hassle. With parking it can only fit one car at a time. So if you're driving up to find a park and there are cars coming down, be aware that you both won't fit. Just an important warning I wish I knew before driving up there! Be safe! It's very beautiful and would definitely recommend seeing. 10/10
Well worth the drive out of town, beautiful little Main Street and cool to see the export operations.

Flagstaff lookout at Port Chalmers is not one to be missed. It gives a fantastic view over the harbour and Bay. We walked up the steep hills to get to it, definitely not recommended for unfit or mobility impaired people. The view is totally worth it, easy access by car and plenty of parking available when we were there. Highly recommended.
