Best fried chicken in the city. Blows the doors off that old American guy with the chicken shops in town.
Absolutely horrified at the rude service given by the female staff member working behind the counter. Port Chalmers is such a pleasant town but this lady was one of the rudest people I’ve met. I walked out leaving my food behind. So disappointing.
I love their chicken and chips but the recent price increase is a bit much for me, also the last few times I’ve been I’m almost certain the chips were re-fried. Other than that, lovely staff and shop.
Went in to grab some lunch. Two staff looked at me, didn't serve me, then proceeded to walk right past me and serve customers who came in well.after me. It's this sort of poor customer service that puts me off and as a result I will take my custom elsewhere.
Nice shop and nice staff. Was a wee bit disappointed with the amount of chips I got with the chicken and chips when I paid $9 I felt like you definitely get more in town at other shops that provide country fried chicken and chips. I didn't go back and complain though as I was in a rush so thought I'd just voice it on here :)
Ordered a Mocha, what I got in return was a badly prepared long black with some chocolate powder. When I went back to let the staff know about it they had a chat amongst themselves and started explaining to me what a Mocha is and asked if I ordered a Mocha or a hot chocolate!!! Would never visit again. Poor Service, unfriendly staff and extremely poor knowledge of Coffee. 0 stars if it was possible.
The burgers are some of the most delicious that Dunedin has to offer. The chips are always cooked perfectly. Great range of food and drinks. Staff are always friendly and happy.
