Burgers were good. As hoped and expected. It’s literally in the name so don’t stuff it up. Chaps behind the counter were chatty and chill. Spot on troops. A+ for effort and friendliness. Keep it up aye what!!
Service was great, food was cooked quickly and tasted good. The only thing we found fault with was the over powering amount of mustard sauce in our burgers otherwise a great first experience.
Soooo, all I had been craving was a fat juicy burger and ordered 2 burgers with chips..... The beef, I upgraded the patty... but was dry and seemed like it had been cooked from frozen (for a local burger joint you'd think they'd cook from fresh) Not enough sauce!!! Unseasoned, soft chips... Wasn't worth the money. I spent nearly $60. Should of gone to Maccas, would of got 10 burgers and been happier. The salad inside the burgers was fresh... So points for that.... Life's a lesson.
The best burger I've had in years!! Awesome staff, friendly and welcoming and fast service too. Will definitely be coming back!!
My elderly mother loves the big islander. The burger is always very good. Love that they have a petite size. Staff recognize her voice on the phone and are always patient, kind and helpful.
Possibly the worst burger/fry combination I've ever had. Would not recommend. The kumara fries were terribly soggy. All of them were drenched in oil and soft. The blue cheese sauce filled up 1/8th of the container, and it was extremely watery with lumpy bits in it (I assume blue cheese). I've attached a photo for reference of exactly how much sauce they gave me. Burger patty was absolutely tiny I had to open up the burger and check if there was even a patty in there. Apart from the miniature patty, the burger tasted ok, but the fries and sauce were inedible. The best thing about my experience was the lovely uber driver.
I'm going to say it was good. Burger was big. Ingredients fresh, service was great. Was out life changing? No, but I didn't need my life changed, I needed a big ole burger.
