   Not the best fish and chips, we ordered tonight and the battered fish was like uncooked cake mix, soggy and not crispy at all. Very disappointed and to think we paid $27 for 2 pieces of fish. The chips and hotdogs were ok.

   Had a bad meal months ago so hadn’t been back. It used to be so good so tried again last night. 3 gurnard and 1 scoop chips over $30. The fish batter was soggy and so stuck to wrap could only scrape bits of fish out of it. Later in the evening my tummy has been off ever since. 2nd time had soggy over cooked fish.    *Updated 21/10/24: Disappointed with our meals tonight. Chips were soggy and meal in general cold. Although was more expensive @ $28 than last time. Looks like new owners, definitely won't come back. First time I have ordered from Bobbys Sea Fresh Fish & Chips. Fish was light and tasty, and chips were crisp, and how chips should be. Chuurrr

   I ordered fish and chips today and It was the worst experience. I couldn't eat it because it smelled so bad. I don't know if it's the freshness or the fish itself is bad, but I won't go there anymore. It's a real shame because last time it was very good. I had stomach ache after that. There were other customers in the store, so I hope no one is seriously ill.

   I really wasn’t expecting to have The Best fish and chips meals I’ve had since I can remember. But tonight I did. 3 generous pieces of extra fresh snapper and a large portion of chips which went across 3 adults (albeit not huge eaters) and a toddler. The batter perfect, the chips crispy and seasoned really well. No frills, nothing fancy just beautiful fish done really well. Oh and the service was awesome. Big smiles from all the Aunties in the shop. Awesome all round of I’m honest.. Chur Aunties x x

   This fish is around 5.7 NZD which is really worthy! It’s fresh and big. The chips are excellent as well. The oyster is a bit costly. If you love fish and chips, you should give it a try.

   Absolutely great place for fish and chips! It is obviously a great place, because the locals keep it busy! They only use fresh fish that is delivered daily (never frozen fish...), and it is delicious! Just don’t wait until near closing time to go, because if it’s a busy day, sometimes they will run out of fish. Prices and portions were good. It was busy when we arrived around 5 PM, so we had to wait about 25 minutes for our order, but it was worth it! Kop
