   I will borrow from Jon Stewart’s review of “Book of Mormon” and say that the Tiger House is so creatively decorated, so comfortable and cozy, so original in layout, and so picturesque that it made me angry. Woody is an attentive and kind host and provided us with everything we could possibly need, including breakfast (and phone chargers!) Go escape reality and stay there for a few days, and then go back to your home and remodel it.

   We booked for a long weekend escape that would accommodate our small dog. The location is stunning, the inside is unique and quirky. The outdoor bath was so relaxing! We didn't get to the plunge pool as it is Winter. Woody and his dad were great. Just needed slightly more maintenance/tidying especially in the colder months. Otherwise, a really great little getaway - everyone was friendly and a bonus was with a real fruit ice cream shop just minutes away. Stay in or venture out, great options.

   What a glorious, tropical paradise! We had an incredible 5 nights at Tiger House, the kids swimming every day, then warming back up in the outdoor bath. While the extra bedroom outside is quite rustic (my husband - who I suspect resents my aversion to camping - absolutely loved it), the main house is pure luxury and well equipped for a lush holiday. We also thoroughly enjoyed the huge personalities of the two ducks who live here, not to mention the other wildlife and animals in the neighbouring farms. A brilliant holiday - we hope to return soon!

   Hands down the best accommodation I have stayed in. The barn is a real labour of love and there was so much thought put into every little detail. The pool was a wonderful treat in the hot sun and the bath was delightful. It has everything you need and you will never want to leave but should you feel obliged there is so much to do and it is super close to some great wineries and the Havelock North township. Will not hesitate to return.

   The Tiger House is a unique gem in Hawkes Bay. The welcome breakfast locally sourced provisions were a nice touch. We enjoyed the accomadation and the quiet elevated rural setting which stays cool in the hot summer days. The pool was wonderful to cool off in and keep the kids entertained. We will be back.

   Highly recommend Tiger House! Very peaceful & relaxing stay, quiet, with an expansive outlook from the kitchen window. The outdoor bath is a great spot & the pool would be awesome in summer. The outdoor fire makes it really cosy & its such a unique spot, feels very foreign! Nice Citta towels & bedding. Host Woody was very accomodating & communicative, left us breakfast provisions & fresh fruit & local coffee, much appreciated. Until next time!
