Phoned in order and just getting wrapped as I arrived. Good service and the chips were exceptional. The fish wasn't so great and slightly greasy.
Have been getting duke street fish and chips off and on the past 6 and half years, In that time I’ve seen the prices rising but the food is still the same from 6 years ago. 1scoop garlic chips $6.30 looks like half a scoop. 1bacon and egg burger $7.80 looks like 1 piece of bacon 1 egg, bit of lettuce and sauce. Fish isn’t that great anymore.
Absolutely beautiful Kai... Before moving, I use to travel from Havelock north for our fish n chips... I've converted many people to Duke street. Two thumbs up n 10/10 from me n my family.

Disgusting - had to remove the fat drenched, soggy batter off the food to make it somewhat edible. Only positive out of the experience was the dogs enjoyed our dinner. Felt sick after eating 1/3 rd of dinner.
Nice chips, sausages crab sticks real good. Pinapple rings with cinnamon n sugar sprinkle great finisher. Good menu of fish n chips, they do burgers to. Also have like $$ deals. X amount of this and/or that with Y amount of this and/or that and chips. Varied prices but affordable. Popular lil shop. Family business with nice fast food. Greasies that arent that greasy, especially if ask for extra strain. Check it out.
