   Such a lovely little café! The staff were super friendly and patiently answered all of my questions. The food was really nice, and I especially appreciated how cosy and quiet the space felt. There’s gentle music playing in the background, and even when there were kids around or people chatting, it never felt loud or overwhelming. I was able to comfortably set up my laptop and get some studying done — it’s the perfect spot if you’re looking for a calm and welcoming environment.

   The scrambled egg, avocado, bacon and toast was really nice in the Kawakawa breakfast. However the the potatoe rosti was very average and looked more like mashed potato. The cabinet food didn't look very fresh and we got two bacon and egg pies at $12 each which were very small and quite disappointing. The French toast was by far the best dish on our table. The atmosphere was nice, and it was good that we could sit half indoors and half outside with the sun. They played good music too.

   Wow! The food here is just amazing! We ordered a poke bowl (with tofu and chicken) and avocado on toast with whipped feta... you won't be disappointed... in fact, I have not had food that tasted this good in a long time! So fresh and full of flavour... my taste buds went crazy! Coffee is also great. Staff are super friendly. Highly HIGHLY recommend! My new regular spot!

   Just needed a quick breakfast before work while travelling. Went for the healthier option of porridge (from an extensive and delicious menu) and OMG. Might not have been as healthy as I intended but best I’ve had in a long time. Nice sunny space too. I’ll be back.

   Cute local cafe with great cabinet food, raw “healthy” desserts. The menu had the usual breakfast & brunch culprits (eggs on toast, smashed avo, eggs bene…) as well as some interesting Asian-inspired options (poke bowl, laksa bowl) which was great to see. I got a cheese and vege scone and a raw slice from the cabinet. Both were satisfying.
