We had the Big Breakfast (28.5), carrot cake (8), mocha (6.5), and cappuccino (6.5$), everything was perfect! 10/10. You can also shop at the Garden, and you might end up getting something even if you only planned to visit the cafe.
I have been a frequent visitor to Nichols Garden Cafe and always enjoy the experience. The coffee is top quality and the food is right up there. The club sandwiches are the best that I've had and are are a regular menu item that I buy. The staff are top quality always great to deal with, nothings a problem. I will continue to be a customer.
The male staff were relaxed, friendly and happy say hello. All the young female staff came across grumpy and really unfriendly. It was very weird. I work in tourism/hospitality and this was very noticeable. Not a good look for the café.
Nice beautiful cafe inside a garden centre. Great selection of food and great coffee. Fairly priced coffee and cabinet food. Pretty much always open even during public holidays. Plenty of tables inside and outside, can accommodate large group. Dogs and kids friendly. Has a very nice fully sheltered play house, perfect for wet weather.
Visiting from Canada and enjoyed popping in here a couple times for lunch. After the noon rush was a bit more relaxed but our meal was just as tasty with great coffee as well. You can always wander about in the gift shop or browse the plants while you’re waiting. Such a nice atmosphere and lovely staff.
Very busy. Food took 45 min to come. Not much room available to sit and wait. Food selection was good.
First time here taking a colleague for lunch, They had a special $18.00 for Mushroom and Bacon Pasta. It was delicious however the portion was very small, There is no excuse for this as it's just bloody Pasta with tiny bits of Bacon. Honesty, just comes across as a cost cutting exercise. I don't mind paying but this really made the dining experience a bad one.
Had brunch here today, to be fair it was very busy. Ordered big brekkie, eggs bene with bacon and caramel latte. The eggs bene was small, like entree size, for $25 expected bigger. The big brekkie was not big, husband could have eaten 2 easily, cost $28. My latte was not caramel, it was so busy with queue that we didn't bother talking to staff as didn't want to line up again and wait. Disappointing really, thoroughly recommend Agnes Cafe in GI, we are never disappointed when we go there.
Nice food, friendly and helpful staff. Was very busy though, had to queue. The chicken salad was nice but had a lot of raw spinach in it. Chicken and mushroom pie was delicious. Vegetable Rosti stack is delicious too for a snack/small meal
