   Polite staff with clear, concise information and instructions. I felt at ease even with the discomfort of knowing I was getting an MRI. Staff wanted to make sure I was comfortable as patients can experience claustrophobia and I appreciated their compassion and empathy. My mother sat an an open waiting room with tea and coffee available at your desire. The effort to make both patient and their support team comfortable is endearing.

   I had a lovely Radiographer who took time to explain the procedure. She also said results would be sent to me, my refering physician and gp within 2-3 working days. One week later, after hearing nothing, I rung to inquire. The lady (Julie) was rude. She insisted results would have only been sent if I had asked for them....that's NOT was I was told on the day! No apology for the communication error (not even an insincere apology). Of course patients want to know their results! Feeling frustrated with the process. Thanks for your reply Greta. I appreciate it ☺ #update, the refering physician has been on leave and won't be back till April. So, my results won't be available for me until then. I trust they are fine....but I think this might highlight a potential 'grey area' for refering on any urgent issues identified (for other patients)? Again, thank you for your interest in my experience. Heather
