I dealt with Robert who came promptly and did a quote, Mike and Grant did the job and did an awesome job, were thorough, tidy and cleaned up well.
I got a kitchen extractor fan installed. The work was done well, in good time, and works great. I suggest getting a quote in writing just to avoid miscommunications.
I can't recommend enough, we have just had our house rewired, lights and switches added also, there was a small hiccup but it was soon sorted! Mike was fantastic, a lovely person to have a chat with, very professional and thorough despite the extra work to do. Everything looks great, I will use these guys again if I can!! 12/10 hands down.
I was contacted by the owner through a Facebook post for some electrical and construction work. I asked for a written quote for some electrical work but was told not to bother with that as they are cheap and quite experienced and fast with the job. I still requested for the quote and they were the most expensive ones out of the other companies. To top that off, I was told that’s the minimum and can potentially be more even though it’s a simple straight forward job. I was away out of town and I contacted the owner for another quote together with the first one but the building contractor couldn’t make it, so I asked him again when I returned. The owner sarcastically told me that I should ask the electricial company that did my electrical work to do my building quote and work as well just because I didn’t choose his company for the electrical work. He went sour because I didn’t choose his company to do the electrical work but in fact I haven’t done anything yet as I was out of town. I was going to choose this company for both the jobs as it would have been easier but not now. I expected more professionalism from this company and respect of customers choice. Get quotes and compare prices as you can’t trust most of them.

Shocking company to deal with -- STAY WELL AWAY unless you have deep pockets + enjoy being ripped off. Steep hourly rate with LOTS of additional hidden costs. Got charged close to $300 -- in addition to original $750 quote -- for having a basic toe board replaced, which got broken in the process of installing new floor. Was told toe board was going to be "a little bit extra" -- not an additional 40%. They also arrived late both for the quote and the work. On the plus side: they had immediate capacity for the job when everyone else in town was booked out for months. I understand why now. Don't use unless you're desperate.
If you're getting painting work done by this company make sure you get a quote. I was told a written quote would be more expensive and that I should just get the paint job done paying the hourly rate. The rates etc were made clear to me so I have no issue with that. I was nervous about not having a written quote but was assured that if I wanted to save money I should go with the hourly rate. I had a kitchen, laundry and toilet area painted. I was told by the contractor doing the quote that rooms are about $1000 each to paint. Even though the toilet area was tiny I imagined that I would have a $3000 bill at the most. The bill was just over $5000! I queried it and was told that some things had taken longer than expected. I wish I'd had a quote because I would not have spent that much to get such a small area of the house painted. My one positive is that the quality of the painting was very good.
