   Just met Rene today and most impressed with his service and price. He understood immediately my needs fixed them and at same time educated me being 64yrs old that was easy to follow. no question was a silly one. technology is moving so fast it is hard to keep up and I have been lucky to have IT support with work that explained nothing to fix any issues. now I am semi retired, first time bought my own laptop for personal use and Rene got it straight away what I needed. he is friendly, approachable, professional and I will continue to now count on him as my number one go to for any issues I come across.    Could not be happier with my experience with R & L Systems. Rene somehow managed to retrieve all the data I needed from a very corrupted Macbook hard drive, saving years of work and my hair in the process. Friendly, professional service for a very reasonable price. Two lessons learnt: 1. Backup regularly. 2. Go to R & L for any future computer issues!

   Extremely happy with the work Rene did on my computer. He asked a lot of questions about my issue to ascertain what he thought the problem was. He communicated to me where he was with troubleshooting the computer and I appreciate his congeniality! He did what he could to make the repair affordable and even tidied up my computer and did some extra work with my fans, because he knew I love my fan colours. I can see why he is rated at 5 stars.    I came to Rene with an a laptop battery replacement. Coincidentally, the operating system had a boot problem after the battery replacement. He was able to backup important files and reinstall the operating system to get me back online the following day. He took great care to walk me through each step of the debugging process. After all of that extra work, I was still only charged for the original quoted price. 5 stars is not enough stars. Best experience ever.

   I chose R & L Systems because he only had 5 star reviews, and I now see why. Rene was beyond helpful and patient with my problematic computer, going above and beyond to find a part. While my laptop couldn't be fixed, he did everything he could and helped me decide on a new laptop, which I purchased from him. Cannot recommend him enough.

   Was down in Dunedin for three days. Left my laptop charger at home so it looked like I would get limited work done. Called Rene as he has helped my children out in the past. He found a compatible charger and lent it to me for the period. He didn't even want to charge me, as long as I returned it on my way out of town. Very helpful man and I understand why my children speak so highly about him.
