   The staff here a very cunning so just be careful! They will come up and offer you help locating something, once you tell them they will quickly locate the product, pick it up and march it straight to the counter without giving you a chance to look at the box or price and before you’ve even made a decision to purchase! It’s very sneaky and I can imagine they use it to swindle a few who don’t speak up!

   Gary and the staff were very helpful yesterday when I needed help for my little boy. I have to say that receiving guidance/help from pharmacists has been a bit lacking in the area. I'm glad I found a pharmacist that listened and wanted to help. This morning my boy was already better - thank you team.

   Had to buy an over the counter medicine for a routine issue, I could visibly see the cheaper option right in front of me but the pharmacist grabbed the most expensive item, didn’t even give me a choice in the matter, didn’t ask what I’d like, and proceeded to charge $35 for medicine my doctor gives me for free. It was 4pm and I was going away and everyone knows how impossible it is to get into a doctor these days. It was embarrassing to ask for and then my vulnerability is extorted?! I think given Gabrielle and what’s happened, is it really ok to be gouging your customers? Do you not think that I lost things during this too? Absolutely disgusted, I will never ever bring my business here again. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

   18 April 2022 The heart of our community, pharmacist Peter Bailey went out of his way to help me today. I had run out of medication and I always get my repeat meds on a Monday. Unfortunately with today being Easter Monday and I was out of the country last week, I was unable to get my Dr to send through a script as they were closed. Peter rung around and managed to track down my Doctor and get permission to dispense enough medicine to get me through until the doctor surgery opens tomorrow. If you are looking for a pharmacy that goes out of there way to help, I totally recommend Peter and Gary from Life Pharmacy Emerson St Napier. On a side note, my cousin was in town from Auckland for the sailing regatta this past weekend and had forgotten to pack a couple of personal items, Good Friday EVERYTHING was shut, Life Pharmacy just happened to be open for a couple of hours doing RAT tests for people travelling internationally, even though the doors were closed the team opened for her so she could purchase a couple of items. She said that would never happen in Auckland. Good work
