Good location, good service, affordable price. Less than 5 kms away from the Napier Soundshell. So, it is very ideal place to stay for New year celebration such as fireworks in the city.
We stayed for 3 njghts in the 1 bedroom room. Apart from our 1st night spent here where there were noises in our room like someone was watching us sleep my kids enjoyed the pool area. The rooms need abit of an update. The shower pressure wasn't that great. Definitely needs to be updated. We liked our stay here.
This motel is great value for money. The serviced unit no. 8 that I stayed in from 17-24 August 2025 was very clean with a comfortable bed and a good shower. Everything I needed was provided in this self-contained unit. There is a bus stop about 50 metres from the motel for buses to Hastings and on to Havelock North. Across the road there is a bus stop about 150 metres from the motel for buses into Napier. So the location is ideal. I would definitely stay here again. Nice and helpful staff too. Highly recommended.
We loved our 1960's style motel stay. Super clean room, plenty of space, very comfy beds n pillows, quality linen. Loved the fully equipped kitchen and amenities. Pool was clean and staff really friendly. Parked right outside our room. Shower pressure a bit slow but not a problem. Would stay again if we return from Australia. Thank you
Wouldn't know to be honest. Probably best to remove yourselves off the agoda site if they are selling rooms you do not have. This wrecked my whole holiday and still waiting for a refund from this whole nightmare.
Clean and very cheap for a two room space. Don't mind to go back.
All Paint peeling off bathroom ceiling, hole punched in bathroom door, dirty toilet, inside toilet bowl was black around the edges, window sills not wiped, all carpet wet and the stench of Indian incense through the whole room. A car park outside a unit looked like it had been parked there a while and broken. The curtains/nettings of the office building were ripped. The white towels were grey. Terrible, not a recommended motel to stay at.
Yeah I get all the negative comments here. But we had most memorable experience at this basic motel. Yes the owner wasn’t friendliest and the rooms were a bit outdated but it resembled my childhood home and it just was a fun part of our road trip. It was clean and tidy for what we paid. And the owner was nice enough when I said good bye thanks!
Pleasant enough room quiet. Maintenance is a bit lacking and bed was in desperate need of a new mattress as we experienced roll together badly but I guess when you pay a lower price for a room this is what you can expect. We have paid more and slept in worse so it was OK overall
