I've been going to Dunedin Dental for a few years now, when I first started there I'd only been seeing the Dental School and there was a lot wrong with my teeth. My dentist Joel had his work cut out for him but he did it with a smile and with grace. I appreciate Joel and the team at Dunedin Dental so much, now that the main work is done they are wonderful at helping me maintain my teeth as long as possible. Dunedin Dental is probably the best dentist in Dunedin.
Came in for my first appointment with Joel. Was the most relaxed dental experience I've ever had. I have autism, adhd among other sensory issues and I felt catered to and looked after. Everything was explained to me and setting up for my next appt was very simple. They're definitely going to become my full time dentist :)
I was on the first day of my holiday and cracked my tooth, but Dunedin Dental came to the rescue, fitting me in on short notice. First class facility and Joel was informative, helpful and fixed me up pretty quickly with no fuss. Thanks for preventing a holiday disaster! I wish you guys were in my home town!
The team at Dunedin Dental are outstanding, so friendly yet professional and non judgemental. They walk you through every step of the way, easing anxiety and providing excellent advice. I was especially nervous after having bad experiences previously but the team at Dunedin Dental made the experience so worthwhile. I will not go anywhere else now!
Amazing staff made me feel really comfortable. I usually hate dentists and won't go, but now I found Dunedin Dental I don't have an excuse because they are all kind, patient and explain the treatments really well.
After many years of using a teaching facility and so many incidents and poor service I finally chose to see a private dentist...Dunedin Dental... My anxiety was so bad I on many occasions became upset in the waiting room. Once changing to private it actually works out cheaper or much the same. Im In the chair less than quarter of the time I was at the last facility. Far better service, facilities and great things to occupy your mind by watching TV above you. Very friendly staff all round no matter who your dealing with and they take Southern Cross Health Care. I haven't been able to fault them.
I am so impressed with the service and staff at Dunedin Dental. As soon as I arrived, the staff made me feel very comfortable and safe (important given I am a nervous patient). Following this, my dentist made me feel at ease and provided positive advice with no judgement. I could not recommend Dunedin Dental enough!
Excellent experience at this dentist. Raquel is the most gentle and experienced dentist I've ever seen in my life. As someone who is deaf, one of the most important things to me is that I don't miss what's going on and Raquel really makes sure that I understand.
