A great dentistery from my experience. I needed an urgent extraction during a trip and they were able to look after me at short notice. The dentist was very communicative and the treatment lived up to the 'gentle' name. Highly recommended.
Iβve been to Gentle Dental before and had a fantastic experience, so I was a bit disappointed by this checkup. The atmosphere in the room felt uncomfortable, and the treatment was rougher than what Iβve experienced in the past, despite having years of orthodontic and prosthodontic care. While I donβt have a dental phobia, I would recommend that anyone who does discuss their concerns beforehand to ensure they feel comfortable during the visit.
I was able to get an appointment on very short notice. Dr Joy explained every step to me and she and the team were very nice and made sure I was okay the whole time. Best and easiest dentist appointment I've ever had.

Best dentist EVER! Due to a bad accident as a child & now an ongoing disease/medications, I have unfortunately spent a lot of time at (different) dentists over the years. I used to go to Lumino on Pitt St, but after a HORRENDOUS experience (to be fair that dentist is no longer there) I went from having no worries/fears about having to go to the dentist to having severe anxiety & panic attacks over having to go. A friend recommended Gentle Dental, she was dental phobic too. I cannot recommended them enough! Emily is a brilliant dentist, she listened to my fears & was incredibly understanding about it. I used to have to be sedated or given gas for anything really major (like a tooth pull) but now I don't use it at all - THATS how good Emily is!! Thanks to Gental Dental & Emily, I now have zero fear when I know I need to see her for something. Their pricing is really fair and the denture/partial plate I've bought through them are exceptional - and fast at being made!! Sheree, at the main desk, is lovely to deal with (everyone that works there is tbh). It's nice to be able to ring & make/change an appointment etc & I'm NEVER made to feel like I'm putting them out, even if it's only a day or 2 before. I sincerely cannot recommended Gental Dental enough. As you can probably tell by my review - I would never even contemplate going anywhere else!!
I am NOT coming back to this dental practice and/or its faulty billing department. I paid an overdue account worth $95 on the 29th of last month, but even so, I got a letter in the mail today from a debt collecting agency called Receivables Management (letter dated two days ago) saying that the bill hadn't been paid even though I came down to the practice on the 29th of last month and settled the debt there and then. This is outright extortion and I am not paying those fags twice for one dental examination. I am done being billed again for accounts I've already paid.
