As a walk in patient my wait was around 30mins as Im not from Napier it was lovely to have a caring Nurse and Dr I appreciated the time and care given. Thank you very much.

We've just moved to napier , and enrolled at the "doctors" clinic . Yesterday ,after I felt my condition was going downhill , my wife took me in without an appointment. I wasn't sure or confident that I could even see a nurse . But after seeing a nurse I was seen by a doctor who really gave me confidence and did all that could be done including the best advise and prescriptions . Great experience ,especially when I was feeling so bad . I started feeling better the next day . Awesome!!
Called them on Friday morning informing them I have covid 19 I need a letter for my employer to be booked of for the period of time they said they will put me on the list for the nurse to call back I said it good I'll wait .Waited till 4:30pm for them to call me back they haven't soo I called again explained again I need a note .they informed me they did try to call me , there is no miscall or message or anything from them they are lying they didn't call they forgot about me . I waited for closing time they still haven't called they forgot ..It's ridiculous!!! I'll be at the doctor's Monday morning 7:45 with my covid mom.myself and daughter and I will not wear a mask !! I can't breathe properly soo why will I protect you from covid if I called 2 times from home asking for your assistance. And you forgot. I have the call log and the positive covid tests.
The wait times for a walk-in, phone call enquiry and booking a doctors appointment including using the app - It’s just unbelievable. Walk-in yesterday (Sunday) nothing available and recovered to Wellesley Road, only to be advised it would be a 4 hour wait. Today, call to get a general idea of wait times, no answer. Look in the APP to see what appointments available - nothing for 4 weeks. Ring again and wait for 10 minutes and eventually get through. Receptionist was kind and able to give me an idea of wait times - still about 2-3 hours for a doctor. I would love to give a better rating.
This is the worst doctors ever. Bad customer service. You have to call one place for everything. There’s 3 offices in Napier, but they all use the same call centre. So you can never directly talk to the office you’re enrolled at. I haven’t received a single text or email from them to pay a bill. I’ve tried to get them to check my email. But it never works. I’ve waited an hour for reception to answer a phone call about a bill. I got charged for them stuffing around trying to figure out what vaccine to give me. Initial enrolment missed meds off my repeat script list so I had no way of ordering them. This place sucks. And because of the health system there’s no way to change doctors.
Not a long wait to see a nurse ( student nurse ) , but the waiting time to see a doctor … frick me …. Over 2 1/2 hours … you need more staff and high quality management. I did ask to see a doctor for emergency matter. I then asked over the reception if maybe the doctor could call me over the phone to give results or prescription if needed she replied with “ no sorry we don’t do calls for emergency appointments “ FIVE DOCTORS ON . Sort it out
I arrived from Lower Hutt, 3 years ago. This was the only practice I could get into in all of Napier. My experience, consistent over three years, here is entirely sub-standard, poor quality staff (in the main) the exception being one Diabetes nurse. In my opinion there is a direct correlation between the availability to register here and the number of doctors who continually leave. Thats right; no one wants to come here to this practice, not even the doctors. The management systems are very poor and even many staff appear to have given up on this place. This is my worst experience in my life, I was with The Doctors in Silverstream Upper Hutt; that place ran like clock work, all staff were superb and the systems really worked seamlessly. So, why not this operation? Simply because it is very poorly managed. Ineptitude at the top results in poor performance everywhere below.
Charged 80$ for a consultation I never had, only ended up getting an injection, they didn’t think to tell me what the cost would be prior to treating me. Would never go back especially when I could’ve got said injection for free by waiting till after the long weekend.
From what I remember of my last visit, which was quite some time ago, this place is quite busy. Wait times to he seen can vary depending on the amount of doctors and nurses available and the number of patients waiting. You'll be triaged based in your contition and seen accordingly.
