Shout out to Mister Minit Dunedin! I stupidly lost my one and only car key and the team at Mister Minit were so helpful! I was lucky enough to have the Regional Manager be in town the day I called for help. They were professional, kind and very understanding of my situation and need for my car with having three children and a husband who is currently working away. They were at my house with a smile the same day I called helping me sort a new key. I also work in the same Mall and the Dunedin team are always so friendly even if you are just walking past. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I went here to get two copies of a house key made, and they got it wrong both times. Both times the staff didn’t even check the original keys against the copies. They just ran them through the machine. I wasn’t charged the second time, but it still cost me extra trips and the hassle of coming during business hours. Very frustrating experience.
A Massive Thank You to the Incredible Team at Mister Minit Dunedin! Yet again, the absolute legends at Mister Minit Dunedin have gone above and beyond! Most recently (on 08/03/25), they tackled the oiliest key you could imagine—seriously, it was a mess. Owen spent hours meticulously cleaning it without causing any damage, ensuring it was in near perfect condition. On top of that, he replaced the battery I had already replaced a month or two ago. When I went to pay, the wonderful Owen took a moment, spoke with his colleague, then came back thought a little longer and then with a smile he said: "That’s all covered under your warranty." I was over the moon—I can’t even begin to explain how much that meant! And to top it all off, it happened to be my birthday, making the whole experience even more special. I always go to Mister Minit Dunedin for anything key-related, as well as engraving, and I’m pretty sure I get the same kind and dedicated Owen every time. Their team genuinely cares about their customers and takes immense pride in their workmanship. They’re always busy, yet they always manage to greet you with a smile and ensure every job is done promptly and to the highest standard. Thank you again, guys! I got my shoes back today and I am completely shocked and stunned at the terrible job they did gluing the sole on. I bought these shoes brand new and the sole needed gluing. It should have been a simple job but they ripped the leather off the base and I just…can’t even believe they would allow this to pass. I wish they told me to go to an actual shoe repairer for gluing and leather shoes. These guys should stick with key cutting. They aren’t equipped to do shoe repairs even after making me wait two weeks for this! So disappointed. I can’t buy these same shoes as they were the last in stock. Super disappointed.
Stopped off at Mr Minit yesterday for a battery replacement in my watch,he was very busy but within the hour he had also replaced the cracked glass in my watch after offering to do that service for me if I so wished,he also repaired the safety chain on my bracelet. He was obliging & happy,which is not always so apparent now.Thankyou Mr Minit.
Horrible work! Ruined my watch! I have always kept my watch well, no dents or scratches, silvery shiny. After they have changed my battery, l noticed so many dents around the cases and made my watch bronze at the edges. My heart was broken and l cried! This watch meant a lot to me and now everytime l see it l will see the dents and get heartbroken!

I would rate them 3 stars for making key duplicates. We had to go back sometimes as the keys don't work. A big no no to replacement of watch batteries. The watch would only work for a few days a stop working. These happened to me several times over the years.
