The best mens leather boots I've owned. 7 years and still going strong. I've found them to be of the highest quality, comfort and design. Made in Dunedin. Will only wear McKinleys boots here on in.
Quality is inconsistent and poor; shoes have poor and rough finishing with machine marks and unremoved pen marking. The construction and design of their shoes lacks innovation. Their PVC soles have a reputation for cracking and splitting. Their customer support is also non-existent
Would never buy McKinley shoes again . Leather is peeling off and they look tacky! Won't fix or replace these expensive school shoes. Graham McKinley is Rude ,defensive and has zero customer service skills, he even hung up on me . He was more fixated on that that shoe laces were done up Would give no stars if I had a choice
We bought these shoes brand new at the start of last year. Very disappointing that the souls basically have disintegrated. You can see in the photo that there is plenty of tread left giving you an idea of how a little they have been worn. Very disappointed especially knowing these shoes are made in New Zealand.
Can't say it goes without saying, because I want to say something. I still have a pair going back 20 years plus. See photos The new Kurow pair will probably out live me.
High quality leather shoes, very poor customer service!! When I was trying to learn more about the shoes, “Everything is on the website.” the office lady says. It wasn’t a good experience!
I ordered the McKinlays Kimbell shoes back in 2021. These shoes are still the shoes I wear everyday for work, and I walk 2kms to work everyday. When you consider how long they last and how comfortable they are I don't know if you can find a better shoe.
I was complimented on my boots this morning and joked with my wife because I think I purchased them in the early1990s, never had to replace the rubber sole comfortable as all get out and the leather still buffs up brilliantly when given a polish, well done !!!
