Asked for a tiny tiny bit off the top. They ended up cutting way more than I wanted and they knew it. I reminded him three times. They are only want a tiny amount cut off and they still couldn’t execute the Hair out the way I wanted.
First time I got a cut it was good, fresh and what I asked for with some clever initiative from the barber. Second time I went, I got the worst cut of my life, my hair was cut too short and the barber did not even fade my hair at all, it was also uneven.
Took my son in today and will be definitely back. He loves getting his hair done and this was his favourite out of all the places we tried

Used to be good, now there's new staff and the last 4 times I've tried to get a haircut they've gone on break and made me wait 45mins with 3 kidswhile they have a cuppa.. .seems like they don't really like cutting kids hair or something..
No bookings, just turn up and wait your turn for a cut. While sitting waiting for my turn I watched the the barber's do their thing and they were were both good at their craft, both here from South Africa hoping to bring their families here to start a new life in the Hawke's bay.
My son has been having his hair cut here since his first haircut. It’s a bit expendy for a kids cut but love that he’s had a really great experience and always walked out looking sharp. Had his haircut with ANOTHER new staff member on Wednesday. It was very quick and the finish just isn’t there. Definitely not the barber experience we expect. This was a $15 cut not a $35 cut.
